Chapter 2160

Author: Celestial Clouds
Adrian delivered a punch to the man's chest. The latter collapsed on the ground, his face contorted with pain but too scared to scream.

“S-Stay away from me!" he stammered.

Adrian halted. He stared at the man and asked, "Have you seen a girl named Marissa?"

"I don't know who you’re talking about!" the man replied, looking at Adrian fearfully. "All of the girls here use nicknames. What's hers?"

Adrian stepped on his chest and said, "She's from the Sun Tribe."

The man grimaced in pain, then fell unconscious.

Another guy behind him said, "Please don't kill him. We're just trying to make a living. The girl you're looking for is in the second private room in the right wing. She's entertaining a guest, and I suggest you don’t disturb them."

Turning around, Adrian cast a cold glance at the man and asked, "Why shouldn't I disturb them?"

"They're the honorary members of the Moonlit faction," the man explained, "They've ordered that no one is allowed in."

"The Moonlit faction?" Adrian

'Why should I?' Adrian thought as he sneered coldly and locked eyes with Almond Eyes without a hint of fear."You can have it, but you're going to have to take it from me," Adrian declared.Almond Eyes flared up with anger. Although Greenhurst was under Ivory Cloud’s jurisdiction, it was an unattended place, making it a gathering spot for the Moonlit faction."How dare a lowlife like you behave so arrogantly before me… Who do you think you are?" Almond Eyes sneered."His name is Adrian…" Marissa choked out, feeling extremely uneasy. The group instantly turned from being arrogant to astonished. The man with the cup in his hand was no longer able to maintain his machismo and took a step back. "Y-You're Adrian?" he stammered, looking at Adrian anxiously. His hands trembled as though he was terrified of the latter. Almond Eyes was the only one who remained calm as he looked at Adrian. He said unkindly, "I heard you're quite formidable, and that you've even fought Hennessy. Is that

Although it was slightly embarrassing to have to flee, their lives were far more important. They would have a chance at getting back at Adrian as long as they were alive. After all four of them retreated, Adrian approached Marissa and asked, "What's going on here?" Marissa's eyes had become teary-eyed. She knew Adrian had offended the leaders of Moonlit for her sake, and that he would now be their target of vengeance. "You have to leave. There’s no hope for me. You can't save me,” she said."Why? There is no problem that can't be solved. It's only a matter of whether you're willing to resolve it or not," Adrian said as he grabbed Marissa's shoulders.Marissa hung her head as tears streamed down her face. "I took half a bottle's worth of Sol Pills."Rozi could not believe her ears. "Why would you do such a thing?! You know full well you can break the addiction to those things!”Adrian took a deep breath. He knew that Marissa was a rational woman and would never ingest such thi

"Marissa is coming with us one way or another. Also, stop trying to trick me. Marissa’s considered a lowlife, so ten chrystals is more than enough," Adrian asserted firmly. The old lady, refusing to back down, said, “I may have bought her cheap, but I have to earn something if I were to sell her, right?"Slap! The angered Adrian slapped the old lady. He did not wish to use violence to resolve the matter, but the old lady was proving very difficult for him to do so."D-Did you just hit me?!" The old lady covered her face in disbelief.Adrian sneered. "Try demanding an exorbitant price one more time and I will end your life. Nobody here will be able to stop me.""Elders, help me!" The old lady looked at the four men behind her, hoping they would intervene and stop Adrian's violence.Yet, all four of them remained silent. They had informed Hennessy about what was happening and thought he should be arriving soon. When he did, Hennessy would surely not let Adrian off easy. Hence, th

Slash!Adrian swiftly dealt with the old lady. She was a malicious person who would only cause more harm than good if allowed to remain alive. Adrian surmised it would be better for her to be dead to prevent other girls from falling into her deceitful schemes.Almond Eyes became delighted. Adrian was conveniently facing away from him, so he dashed with all his might, assured that Adrian was dead meat by the time he was done."Die!" he shouted."Right back at you.” Without even a backward glance, Adrian swung his sword backward and sliced Almond Eyes in half before the latter could even get close. There were now only two men left. They did not dare to fight Adrian and ran away faster than deer. They even dropped their swords.Adrian turned around. Facing Hennessy who was standing in the darkness, he said, "Why are you just standing there? Did you think I wouldn't notice you?"Hennessy wore a grim expression. He had arrived more than ten minutes ago and had yet to make a move. He

Adrian noticed what Hennessy was trying to do. If Hennessy followed through with this plan, he would be exposing his methods and the man in purple would no longer help him. After all, the man in purple valued his pride. Adrian raised his scimitar and said, "Hennessy! You just said you're an honorable man, so you'd better think about what you're trying to do!" Hennessy's expression turned hideous as he withdrew his hand. When he saw Adrian charge toward him, his eyes twinkled as he immediately thought of another excuse.Slash! With a light swoosh sound, Hennessy's hair fell to the ground. The mess on his head was so chaotic that he looked like a porcupine.Hennessy's face turned ashen from the fright. Despite evading with all his might, Adrian’s attack still managed to touch him. He blurted out, "You're trying to kill me!" As soon as he finished speaking, Hennessy regretted it. After all, who would show mercy to their enemy in a fight? His face turned red, and he lowered his

Facing danger, Hennessy forgot about Adrian's warning and pulled out the bamboo tube at his waist. Then, he activated the mechanism and aimed it at Adrian's chest.Adrian had already lunged toward the man in purple, and Hennessy's poisoned needles were shot in vain, dispersing like falling stars.Hennessy took aim once again. Meanwhile, Adrian was in a fierce battle with the man in purple, gaining a clear advantage and pushing him backward.Bucky, having just arrived at the scene, witnessed Hennessy attempting to harm Adrian. In a panic, he rushed over and grabbed Hennessy as he shouted, "Watch out, sir!" However, it was too late. Hennessy's poisoned needles had already been released, heading toward Adrian's back. Adrian heard Bucky's warning and stopped his attack. He grabbed the man in purple's hands before flipping him over through brute strength. The man staggered and dropped his sword, not expecting Adrian to use such a tactic. He missed his attack and felt a tightness in h

Bucky was in a panic. Francisco Perez was the head of Moonlit, a formidable figure, even surpassing Leeroy, the leader of the powerful Debonaire Syndicate. However, Francisco was known for his fiery temper and straightforward personality, making him less favored and renowned than Leeroy."Let's get out of here, sir!" Bucky quickly suggested. "We can deny whatever they hurl at us as long as they don't catch us.""That won't do anything to help us. If I leave, the charges will stick, and I'll end up having to hide wherever I go in Debonaire. I don't want that kind of life."Adrian could not care less about what others speculated of him, but he needed to get to Debonaire City.Bucky was rendered speechless. They would be at greater risk if they chose to stay. He made up his mind that he was going to take the fall for Adrian if the situation became dire."You can pin the blame on me, sir,” he said."No one will believe that." Adrian gave Bucky a stern look. "I trust that neither of

Francisco looked to Adrian, hoping for an explanation. Adrian chuckled and said, "It's only natural for one to feel angry after realizing they have a treacherous apprentice. He tried to eradicate the menace before he died.”"That’s impossible!" A hurried and breathless voice interrupted. The speaker seemed exhausted, slapping his chest as if trying to catch his breath. "Hennessy was the most outstanding apprentice at Westia!"Adrian glanced at the newcomer. It was the leader of Westia, Gavin Pape. He was a tall and burly man with a fully-grown beard. Moreover, he looked like a hot-tempered man. "What was he outstanding at? Running his mouth maybe?" Adrian mocked. Hennessy's skills were mediocre at best, proven by the fact that he would not have resorted to underhanded tactics if he was indeed skilled. Gavin blushed. Hennessy was good with words, pleasing everyone in Westia with his high EQ."You murderer!" Gavin drew a spiked knife. "You killed the number one apprentice of o
