Author: Celestial Clouds
Checking his watch to make sure it was almost time, Adrian gave Marissa the signal.

Under his powers, he shook Mount Shangspar, and the rock layers fractured.

Marissa saw this and said to herself, "That's the signal. Time for me to inform Novemton.” She landed on the ground and reverted to her human form before firing a flare into the sky.

Simultaneously, the radar at Novemton headquarters captured the signal and immediately passed the message to Nova.

"We've just received the signal from Mount Shangspar. They’re ready, so let's proceed as planned."

"Copy that.”

At Mount Regent, Nova stood before the Timewinder. She trained her eye on her watch. As it struck the agreed time, she activated the Timewinder.

Boom!

The Timewinder burst into golden light and ascended into the sky, twisting time and space, forming a massive vortex in a counterclockwise direction. At the same time, at Mount Shangspar, Adrian activated the life inscription on the Apex Obelisk, attempting to awaken

The pair then arrived at the top of Evercrest Mountain. "Nova.""Yes, Father?"Adrian pointed toward the Evercrest Mountain camp and said, "That's where the camp is. More than twenty years ago, the Excenomers and four nations in the outlands came together to invade our borders. At the time, I sent out a team of vanguards to take control of this mountain and make it our base. After we won, we established this outpost. Do you see that sentry tower behind the camp?""I see it." "Do you know how it came about?""Yes, I do. Thunderstorm was the one who built it so that his men could keep a lookout for Excenomer activity at all times. After all, our nation’s moat is just a hundred meters away from the tower. "There's a dragon head statue at the top of the tower called Dragon's Gate. It's meant to be the entrance into Navia, and the men guarding this base were all ready to sacrifice themselves to protect our country from invaders."Nova had read about all these in books. Adrian s
