Chapter 1560

Before seeing Adrian and Oliver return in one piece, they thought that all hope was lost.

"It's so good to see you two alive, sirs." An ordinary-looking young man wiped away his tears of joy as the other stood behind him.

Oliver asked, "Lyle, what happened here? Where are the others?"

The young man's name was Lyle Higgins, a team leader in Mount Gremont Railway's security team. When the reset happened, many of the management-level staff disappeared. Lyle immediately led the survivors underground, where they had remained in hiding for three days.

Lyle replied, "We don't know what happened. The sky just became like that all of a sudden, followed by people vanishing into thin air while monsters appeared. We are all that’s left. I brought everyone underground, hoping someone would send in reinforcements, but nobody came. Our wireless devices don’t work, so we can’t make contact with anyone outside the base. Neither could we do anything reckless with the monsters around."
