Smoke bombs, signal flares, and smoke signals unique to Wyvern Peak rose into the air, fusing with the giant shadow in the sky. Jerome and the others had been using such methods to send out signals, yet nobody had responded to them over the past few days.

A group that had just defeated a monster ambush at the foot of Mount Gremont noticed the signal. There was a bright light like meteors soaring across the sky, followed by thick smoke. It looked like a message.
