Roland collapsed and broke down, while Mya nodded at Adrian’s orders.

Reena and Wesley held their breaths, awaiting their fates.

"Victor Hasting has been found guilty of falsifying his results, and his family background doesn't comply with Wyvern Peak's standards for the selection. Hence, he is deemed an ineligible candidate.”

Reena started wailing, but Adrian pressed on, "According to Wyvern Peak's rules, Victor will be sent to prison for eighteen years for faking his registration particulars. He will be barred from conducting business, receiving education, or any other benefits Novemton provides its citizens."

"No!" Reena wailed upon realizing Victor would be in his forties by the time he was released from prison.
