“Talk to us. What is the matter?” Her father persuaded her.

“He gave me Tim's number,” she said with a hoarse voice.

“Oh, my God! That is mockery,” her mother declared.

Her father was weakened by such a degree of callousness, “That is cruel of him. He would have simply declined your request,” he pointed out.

Now, the weight of their problem rested heavily on Laura and she began to cry. Although her parents were not crying audibly their hearts were bleeding.

“How will I be retained when I did not do well in the test?” She cried out.

Her parents were overburdened to pacify her and she cried on. Meanwhile, they cursed Gen. McDonald for being cruel in their hearts without thinking that they were cruel.

At Tim's House

“Maybe he will give her my contact tomorrow," he stated when he was through with his dinner and did not get her call.

He got up and walked to the basement to see what George did.

“Wow! He did an excellent job,” he complimented.
