He hissed, cut the call, and answered, “It is Samuel. My little brother-in-law.”

“Is he mad at me?” Samuel pondered in trepidation.

Gen. Hill was thrilled to hear that and teased him, “I almost forgot that you are the father of grown-ups. Why did you cut his call?”

“He can be clingy every so often. Especially when he is alone.”

“He is volunteering at His Excellency's office.”
