Chapter 32. Jasmine POV

Jasmine was observed sitting on a bed, daydreaming and thinking back on her past.

" Father, I do not want you to go." Little Jasmine pouted as she clung to her father. The man smiled as he carried his lovely daughter up.

"I need to go; I am a Pack warrior and one of the strongest," her father said, ruffling her hair.

Jasmine sighed sadly; she had no idea why her mind was racing, but she had a feeling something was about to happen.

"Okay, father," she replied, wriggling free from her father's grip.

Warrior Carlos, Jasmine's father, smiled at his daughter before leaving the house.

Thirty minutes later, smoke filled the town as everyone fled for their lives, including Jasmine's stepmother and sister, who fled to the pack house, which was a bit out of town. Jasmine ran outside to find her father. People called her back and even pulled her, but she struggled and continued running into the smoke.
