Chapter thirty-four

The Next Day

"Where is Serena?" Denzel asked Mrs. Fiana. On the breakfast table, he was waiting for her but she was not coming down.

Yesterday night, when they came back to the mansion Serena was already asleep. So they could not talk anymore the night.

Mrs. Fiana answered, "She left an hour ago."

"What? This soon..." Denzel wanted to see her in the morning but she already left, she didn't even see him nor tell him anything. 

Before it was different. But now, he felt the urge to see her. In the morning, having breakfast with her, hugging her before going to work, he wanted to do it at the least as there was a one-month trial.

As he got up to the chair Mrs. Fiana said, "Sir, you did not have breakfast yet..." "I don't have an appetite." He said and walked away.

Mrs. Fiana never thought of seeing Denzel this way. He did not eat because of her and he seemed to mind when he heard she left already.
