**Scarlett's POV**

I groaned and sat up, rubbing my eyes with the back of my palm. My eyes snapped open when I remembered what happened. Alpha Xavier had beheaded that guard yesterday and saved me. I glanced at my breasts and saw that it was bandaged, glanced at my hands too and there was a bandage on it. Did he treat me yesterday? Hell no! It's not possible. He must have called the pack doctor.

I looked down and saw him seated with his head on the bed, sleeping soundly. His hair fell to his face, making him look hot and cute. He didn't look like that ruthless Alpha he was anymore, he looked humble, vulnerable, and sweet. His facial features were just perfect; no flaws.
