**Alpha Xavier's POV**

This was almost like the hundredth time I was checking the wall clock since she was gone. I gave her 5 minutes, but it was already 40 minutes, and she was nowhere to be found.

I swayed from left to right on my chair as I waited for her, thinking of the punishment I was going to give her this time around. I waited, but still couldn't see her. Could she have passed out on the way? Did something bad happen to her? I couldn't help the different questions that tugged at my heart at the same time.

“I am not worried.” I muttered to myself to ease the uneasiness I had.
