*Author's POV*

"What?" Xavier muttered in shock. "I I I don't get it, what do you mean doctor, What are you talking about? P poison?" He stuttered.

"I'm sorry Alpha, you should have brought her sooner, the poison is a rare one and it's nothing like what I've dealt with before, you took so long in bringing her here and now that the poison has done so much damage to her system, we can only hope for a miracle. We've done our best to flush it out, but then she's slipped into a coma." The Doctor dropped another bomb shell.

Xavier staggered backwards, he was about falling but the Doctor was quick to hold him up.

"Alpha!" Doctor Blinks panicked. "Please put yourself together."

"It's all my fault, it's all my fault." Xavier cried. "But I didn't know, Scarlett never told me anything and when I had noticed some changes in her body, I keep telling her that we need to come see you, but each time she declines saying she's okay. I shouldn't...." He trailed off as he got chocked by his own saliva.
