Michael couldn't believe his ears. What in the world?

“Elora, are you serious or this is one of your numerous jokes?” He asked and Elora scoffed.

“Why would you think I'd joke with something as serious as this? I'm telling you the plain truth here. Scarlett is about to denounce our pack. What I expected from you was to swing into action immediately but instead you're here asking stupid questions,” She frowned and folded her arms.

Michael was shocked and angry at the same time. He knew Scarlett wasn't going to think twice before accepting their offer and he mustn't let that happen. He can't afford to lose her, not when he now feels something for her.

Elora was bent on poisoning his mind as much as possible. “You can't let that happen, Michael. If that happens, you would have no control over Scarlett and worse, we won't be able to convince her to come with us to the pack.
