Chapter 44 – Lets Go Home I groan as the sunlight from the window pours in, falling across my eyes and waking me from my sleep. My body is pressed to that of my mate as the sparks and tingles remind me that I am safe in his arms and that last night was the final night we spend in the guest house. Today we can return home. Alex and Lizaria are most likely at their wits end with running a pack and I am in need of my family after this. “Keep groaning like that and I will make sure to remind you how our pup was made.” A deep voice rumbles out and I chuckle, turning to see Ariven looking at me with sleep filled eyes and a soft smile on his lips. “Sorry, the sun woke me up and I am not ready to be awake.” I mumble out, hiding my face from the sun in his chest and sighing. Another deep chuckle and strong yet gentle hands running through my hair has me slipping into sleep soon enough though. “I’ll make sure everyone is packed Dar
Chapter 45 – Family I smile down at the white curly haired angel sleeping soundly in her bassinet, wondering if I will be a good mother to my new born daughter. These last few weeks have been a blur. First, coming home to announce Ariven as my mate and making sure Alex did not do the “brotherly love” beating that Ariven would have won instantly. Then the announcement of our pup which sent the pack into even more of a celebratory frenzy. After that, we welcomed the many new pack members and began expansion of building new cabins and buildings to accommodate my growing pack with Ariven and I arguing over me helping with building considering I am pregnant. Moving into my cottage I designed the day I claimed the land as my own and slowly feeling the warmth and love I longed for inside it made me happy that I agreed to Ariven’s request. As my pregnancy progressed, many pack duties soon became irritating and this place became a sanctuary for Ariven and I to relax after a lon
Chapter 46 - Life Goes On "Destiny stop! You're going to hurt yourself." I sigh as I lift my three year old pup off from the pile of boxes that contained the rest of her play house materials. With Ariven off on patrol and Lizaria on her first vacation in thousands of years, I am left alone to build the gift Mika and Lace sent for my pup’s birthday as the two went off to help spy on Alexander for Crystalline and I. A war is brewing but today I just want to enjoy the warm weather with my pup. “Gem, do you need help?” My mother walks outside carrying a tray with lemonade and finger sand witches, placing them on the small café table with my father following behind her arms full of food ready to be grilled. “If you don’t mind, could you hold Destiny while I put this wooden playhouse together?” I ask, seeing my mother chuckle as she takes the squirmy three year old from my arms and steps back to stand beside my father. With a smile, I close m

Chapter 1 - Once Upon A Time...As if! Do you know the stories of Werewolves? Being that shift every full moon into mindless beasts with only the urge to hunt? Well what would you say if I told you that we exist, that the full moon is a myth created to protect our kind and that I am the Queen of all wolves. I am Crystalline Thorn, the supposed unwanted daughter to Alpha King Alexander. The daughter that was abused and rejected when the truth of me being a runt came out. Chapter 2 - A Destiny set in motion A distant time in past... The King smiles as he looks down at his twin pups, Crystalline and Selene, his mate Queen Luna and his Prince looking on from a distance as Coro tries to gain the attention of his exhausted mother. "Who came first?" King Spirit asks, turning to look at the Midwife, a witch named Cassandra. "Selene did sire. Crystalline came next and the power in her blood nearly suffocated me. It is stronger than the prince." The witch answers, looking at the twins with a smile. "Well then Selene when the time comes will take my place as the Moon Goddess." Luna croaks weakly, a happy smile on her pale face. "What about Crystalline?" Coro asks, looking to his newborn twin sisters with distain. He will have no choice but to keep Selene safe as the divinity in her blood scare the young Prince, but Crystalline may be a threat to his rule on the throne.
Chapter 3 – The Outcasted Princess "Crystalline you are uselessly slow. Why is it so hard for you to be faster?!” My father growls out in frustration as I cross the finish line once again for the umpteenth time. Leaning against a pillar for support, I try my best to catch my breath and look at the clock on the wall. Shocked to see it reads ten thirty at night I internally groan realizing it has been three hours since father made me run laps. “Father, I am trying my best but its been three hours. I am exhausted and need a break to be able to get faster.” I plead, hoping to reason with the mountain of a man before me. All he does is growl, his anger radiating off him and towards me, but I stand my ground as the chain with the moonstone orb sways slightly from my neck. Being the only child and without any sons, Alexander has forced me to train for years on end to be a strong heir to the throne. But this treatment only makes my hatred and resentment to him
Chapter 4 - Training through the YearsFourteen Years Old I growl in frustration, hating this training exercise while I dodge trees in wolf form, my white fur blending into the snow perfectly. But Matrix is a pro at tracking, the sixteen year old used to tracking wolves for days even though he is a warrior. With a nose like his so strong that he can smell a Soulless before it can even cross the pack line, it takes everything in me to stay ahead of my friend. Matrix has unfortunately made it his mission to train my speed and agility, something a runt like me could only inherit. Speed and agility will help me take down an enemy. Speed and agility will help protect myself, especially since father has made it his mission to make me seem weak in this pack. With speed and agility, I can take down my enemies and prove to be a strong Alpha Queen. A yelp escapes my muzzle as I feel my paws slipping out from under me as a wolf tackles my small form. I couldn't he
