Daisy’s POV

I didn’t understand why Astrid despised me. It was like her existence was solely to poison everything my soul longed for.

Pictures of our encounter flooded my mind, the intensity of Hades glare still burning through my mind.

“Okay, that’s it, I have had enough of walking on egg shells around you,” Priya shouted, barging into the room with a scowl on her face.

“You have been moping around for an eternity now, eating less and just crying yourself to sleep, it’s unhealthy,” Priya shouted.

I kept mute, if I ignored her long enough she would get fed up and leave, it has worked the past few days and I was sure it would again.
