CHAPTER 12

“In the middle of the night, it’s like a million stars are spelling your name, drawing you to me,”

Daisy’s POV

My broken sob woke me up, I could still feel the strain in my throat from screaming for my mother.

With shaky hands I scrubbing of the tear streak that had lined on my face.

I looked outside the window, the sky was decorated by stars, it was enchanting to see.

“It’s just a bad dream,” I muttered to myself. It was perfectly normal to think I saw my mother in my dream.

I mean I had just kissed her picture goodnight, it was pretty obvious I had been lucid dreaming.

The hairs on my neck stood in alert, my senses screaming in warning, that I wasn’t alone.

I slowly turned my gaze from the window, my eyes taking the shadowy figure that stood in the corner of the room.

I scrambled out of the bed, screaming as I tried to rush towards the bathroom door.

My assailant stood perfectly blocking the only door that lead to the corridor, my feet tangled with the bed covers,
