ACE'S POV

The soldiers looked so traumatized and found it difficult to say a word for almost a minute. I found their silence rather weird and somehow, I began to feel really upset and couldn't bear their stupid display.

"Am I speaking to you guys or someone else? I asked, what's going on here?" My voice boomed through the them with my Hands clasped together. My face had turned sour and I was sure I was going to land one of them a punch across the face if care wasn't taken.

"We were heading to where the commander was taking us to when we were suddenly attacked by some strange men. They wore masks so we couldn't recognise their faces at all. We had to fight our way out of their clutches," one of them explained with his hands clasped to his side. I turned my head towards Kyra who was already staring at me as if to say, ‘I told you.’
