HARDIN'S POV

As I sat on my work table in my room, I began to hear the jovial and friendly voice of my son, Blake. My heart skipped a bit and I felt a strong urge to run to meet him but I refrained from doing so. Yes I was glad he was back safe and sound but that didn't mean I wasn't angry anymore. I remained where I was, my head buried wholly in what I was doing. The voice drew nearer and nearer and I needed no one to tell me where he was coming. I clenched my hands into a first, pissed at the audacity he had to giggle the way he did despite what he did. I was still pondering on what to do when I heard a knock on the door and boom, he turned the doorkn, causing a flood of light rush into the room. The Infuriated me more but I managed to sit still.
