Chapter Hundred and Thirteen

ELSA'S POV

For a few seconds, no one said anything. My heart still raced like I was some kind of thief and maybe I was. A small smile graced his features, even though from the lines on his face I could see that he was trying to hold it in. It was not a success.

It was either I speak or we would stay here all night looking at each other. I briefly raced through my head, trying to find the words. I did not know what to say. Find something formal to say, mind instinct suggested. Since we were no longer on a milk-drinking basis and sharing sweet nothings on the dining table, it was going to be easy to turn all Scarlett O'Hara on him. I contemplated if bowing was too much and decided to take it out.

"Good evening, Arthur. I see you lost your way. This is a garden, you cannot pee here." A frown formed on his face before his brow shot up as though to ask if I was being serious, playing this game I was playing. But the problem was that he had not even seen anything yet.
