A week had passed since what had happened on the field. Madeline was not released and granted her freedom because they knew that doing that would only favor the enemies. Even though Josiah had taken Madeline’s and her father’s memories, they still knew every corner of the kingdom thus it would be easy for the enemy to ambush or even kidnap anyone.

In the family, Aiden’s family and Leila’s family were having breakfast in silence. The family of three were already used to the kingdom’s life even though they had been so busy.

“Leila, are you still going to the elders' place to learn today?” Aurora asked as she looked at her best friend.
