The two of us stared at each other in silence. It was almost like we both seemed to be coming to terms with the fact that we were in each other’s presence right then.

“What are you doing here?” Were the next set of words to fly out of her own mouth just as I thought it.

“I should be the one asking you what you’re doing here,” I returned, my brows furrowing. This wasn’t good. This definitely wasn’t good. “What are you doing in the pack, Meera? Or should I say, Elizabeth?”

She sneered at me.

“Say or do whatever you want, it has nothing to do with me. Besides, there’s no way you can prove all of that, can you I?” She snorted. “Just mind your own business for once.”

I felt annoyance running through me as soon as she said those words and I grabbed her hand, pulling her tightly.

“I,” I emphasized. “At the Luna of this pack, and it is my duty to know what the bell you’re doing here, Meera. If you won’t tell me then I will tell everyone who you are. Maybe that will spur you into action,” I fi

Arielle’s POV:I don’t know how long I simply stood there in the garden, rubbing my hands all over Meera’s back and trying to soothe her as much as possible. What I did know was that I had to protect her.For now, I don’t think I could bear to tell Richard about her identity. Not in try k I could determine what exactly was her purpose here.If she was a threat to my pack then no amount of subbing would stop me from exacting punishment on her.She had fallen silent now and I could see on her face the dried tear tracks that had formed. Her eyes looked red and swollen and she was avoiding my gaze. Clearly she was uncomfortable with having broken down in my presence. I wondered if I should feel bad about that, but I brushed the thought away.“I’m sorry,” I said without thinking much. “I… I think you should go and rest. I’ll check on you later, if that’s okay,” I added. She looked dazed, unable to do anything more than to nod.I looked down at her hand which she cuts in them and I began t

  • The Rejected Doctor   Esme’s Discovery

Arielle’s POV:I got back home minutes later, still deep in thought. I had barely passed the entrance when I heard a soft female voice call me.“You’re back early,” I heard and turned my head to see Aunt Esme walking in through the main living room. Her expression was genial and kind, which always warmed my heart whenever I saw her. But then she had a curious look on her face. “What’s wrong? You’re worried about something, aren’t you, dear?”How did she know that?It was only then that I realized that I was worrying my bottom lip with my teeth.I quickly released my lip, giving her a sheepish smile, trying to mask all the confusion that I felt inside.“I’m fine, aunt Esme,” I began to speak but she then raised her hand to stop me from saying anymore. Before I knew it she had taken a hold of my hand and was leading me to the living room.I was made to sit down on one of the couches, and I watched as she walked over to the pitcher of water, pouring some into a glass cup and bringing it

  • The Rejected Doctor   Something is Wrong With Arielle

Richard’s POV:Something was wrong with Arielle and i did not know what.I glanced at her as she got ready for the day.It had surprised me a lot to find out that she had gotten up earlier than I had expected . She wasn’t fond of sleeping in, of course. But I usually was up at least an hour before she was. However… not only had she risen from our bed hours earlier, but she had also not glanced at me since she got up.That had definitely been strange indeed, for though I hated to feel like a domesticated wolf, I was used to her morning kisses immediately after she got up.It had left a bit of an empty feeling, not knowing what was wrong with her or what I had done wrong. My mind went immediately to the way she had behaved throughout last night. When I got home, I had not noticed her odd behavior right away, seeing as I was completely tired due to the work. I had barely managed to squeeze in a once weekly sparring session with Darren.“I’ll drop in so we can have lunch,” I mentioned, wa

  • The Rejected Doctor   Chaos

Arielle’s POV:Relax, Arielle. It could just be a fluke. Maybe a simple stomach bug? Maybe I was just stressed and was exhibiting all the symptoms of being pregnant for no reason.Yes, that must have been it, right? As much as I was saying those words repeatedly to myself I couldn’t help but feel like the worst liar on the planet. After all, I had to have noticed the signs beforehand. But I had brushed them off as me just being a little bit stressed and off.I swallowed, looking at the small strip in my hand. My hands were shaky as I waited for the minutes needed for the accurate test to show.“Oh great moon goddess please,” I whispered, staring at the cream tiled walls of my office bathroom. “Please I don’t know if I’m ready for this. I don’t know if Richard’s ready.”I looked down moments after, and upon seeing the two pink lines that stared positive, my heart sank.I was pregnant. It was all true.My panic returned full force and I dropped the pregnancy test strip in the bin with sh

  • The Rejected Doctor   Diversion

Richard’s POV:We made our way through the shortcut that Falcon had proposed.Darren and I had quickly met with him when the team was put together, and we had decided that we would be taking that route. I didn’t think that it was certainly a trap or anything but it didn’t hurt to be prepared and use the element of surprise on our side. However much I wanted to believe that things would go smoothly with Elise and Hunter, some part of me knew that it was somehow doomed from the start. Of course I couldn’t just come out and say thy to everyone, so I kept silent. I think it was my serious expression that gave away that I was brooding, for none of my men spoke to me or questioned me at any point in time.Luckily for us that was what saved us. We were near the presumed location of Elise and Hunter and the sun was shining brightly in the sky.I heard a twig snap and my ears picked up at the sound of it. Someone was in front of us.“Stop,” I called out. Everyone of my warriors fell silent imm

The alarm bells blares in my ears like a war gong, and I was left feeling helpless and lost.In reality, I was still in my office, with Meera looking meekly away from the glares of either myself or Ethan.Richard’s words came through the mind link that we shared.‘What’s going on, love? And I’m on my way. It was a trap,’ he sounded regretful, and there was a tinge of disgust punctuating his words. What had happened to make him sound like that?‘A trap?’ So this had all been planned.‘Elise and Hunter are working with the Rogues. They’re working with Leon. • The Rejected Doctor   MY NEW BOOK!

KELEIGH’S POV My father’s claws gleamed in the light of the overhead lamp of the room as he raised his hand in the air, preparing to swipe. My breath caught in my throat as I pressed against the wall he had roughly pushed me into in a rage after he had caught I and Jake in the act of canoodling. He roared in fury as he bore down on Jake. I could understand why he was so enraged. Jake was the Alpha of the Moonlight pack, and my father was the Alpha of our pack, the Wesselton Pack. Both our packs have been in a bloody feud for so long that no one even remembered how it started in the first place. Countless wolves from both packs had died for generations over this feud. And Jake was about to be the next person. “My daughter!” My father growled at him. "How dare you!" My heart galloped with panic as I stared at the scene in front of me. My father in a state of half-shift, his clothes already partly torn from it. Jake, pinned below him, his eyes filled with so much fear and shock as he

  • The Rejected Doctor   Chapter One.

Hello everyone; I hope this meets us well. I assure you, it's going to be better than the first, and all my errors I have duly noted. I need your support, vote, comment, and everything you can do. Thank you so much for always being there for me. It might be slow, not fast paced like any other books but I assure you, it's very good. CHAPTER ONE A knock on the door disrupted her sleep, causing her brows to crease as she rolled to the other side of the bed. She scrunched her eyes up, trying to get back to her sleep when another series of knocking came after. “Hmm.” She groaned out, her hand fumbling on the bed as she reached for the blanket, throwing it over herself and acting cozy inside of it. “You have to open the door princess,” she heard her maid say from the door, causing the frown on her face to deepen.

  • The Rejected Doctor   Ending the war

Richard’s POV:This is how it ends.I transformed back to my human form, my chest bare.I looked around me, watching the Rogues being tied down around me. The death of Leon had caused an immediate and drastic drop in morale. The Rogues didn’t fight anymore, allowing themselves to be chained.Among them, were the Evans family too. They had been brought out by the warriors as per my orders. The night was still as I stood in the center of such chaos.I never knew silence could be quite this deafening.“The battle is over,” I said, looking around me with steely eyes to my tired warriors, but still victorious. I felt satisfaction in seeing all the familiar faces around me. Not many of them fell, to my joy. “We will dispose of the traitors today and rebuild our pack. This victory isn’t anything but a symbol of our strength, and our unity. For in our unity,” I rolled my shoulders back and raised my voice even louder. “We will never fall.”The cheers of my warriors were enough to dare me, and

“No! No! Father, you can’t do this to me! You can’t do this!” A tiny voice cried out, her voice echoing through the four corners of the room.“Stand up!” A loud voice boomed through her ears and ran through her body, causing her to hold her tears. He stood up from his throne, all tall and authoritative. The royal staff in his hand touched the ground and silenced everyone in the room. He studied his steps casually, walking towards her and sending streams of shivers down her spine.“Stand up!” He ordered. She didn’t need to be told twice. She scrambled up immediately, balancing her feet and lowering her head to the ground. He raised his hand to her, and she recoiled at the thought of him hitting her head, “Stacey, you’re nothing but a weak wolf. And your presence in this pack is not needed. I regret the day I gave birth to you. And today is one of my happiest days in this pack, to finally see that you have a use for me.” He said without mercy. She clenched her fist so hard her nails pie
