The blood in my head had flowed enough to create the energy to comprehend the figure standing beside the bed.
Gulp. It was the first time my saliva almost choked itself down my throat. Questions rushed in, forming a big line of questioning. It was no longer about who brought me to this place.
Rather, why the Alpha I wanted to avoid the most was here.
"I see you're so desperate to avoid me. This is the first time to me," that Alpha raised a light, flavorless smile. Eyes as red as blood glared at me, soft and piercing at the same time.
