What? Did he just say my child will be his heir? What will happen to Jenna’s child then?

Questions ran through my mind and also lingered at the tip of my tongue so much that it took all that I had in me to hold back.

Jenna wouldn’t care about me if she was told this, why should I care about her? Closing my eyes, I let out a sigh as Nikolai finally released me.

The fact that Nikolai had just confirmed that my child will be the heir in so many ways, settled me and calmed me down and it took all my powers to fight back the smile that wanted to make its way to my lips.

“Right,” I finally muttered, my eyes darting around but finally falling on Nikolai and he looked like he wanted me to say something more.

He looked like he wanted me to acknowledge what he had just said, to say something about the fact that he had just decided that my child will be his heir but I said nothing.
