Chapter 3 - City of PERFECTION

‘This...’ X’s eyes widened and gulped while feeling the heavy pressure.

All the creatures dash towards her and smack and slam her. However, the moment they removed their hands on the ground, the woman with a black cloak wasn’t there anymore. Further, Zaykee’s eyes widened because the woman suddenly appeared at X’s back and was about to punch him.

“X!! At your back!!!” Zaykee shouted, but it’s already too late. The woman punched X using her right fist, but X already dodged it by moving his body to the right side, anticipating her attack. In the end, no one got hurt.

“Crazy woman as always,” X stated while scratching his head at the back using his right hand.

The woman’s eyes got big while her face turned red, which was about to explode with anger like a volcano erupting. “WHAT DID YOU SAY?!” She shouted in a high register. While clenching her right fist in front of them, as well as her teeth, “Grr.”

“Can you please stop?” X requested while looking at her dark eyes.

“THEN, MARRY ME FIRST!” She demanded.

Zaykee, and X, together with the creatures, can’t help but put their hands on their ears because of her destructive high thin voice.

‘Ouch,’ Zaykee thought, ‘I can’t stay with this person because I feel like my world is about to end.’ he gulped. ‘However, her strength and agility aren’t a joke.’ He added.

“Why should I marry a loud woman like you?” X asked.

“HEY! DID YOU FORGET WHAT HAPPENED TO US LAST NIGHT?!” The woman shouted again while closing her eyes with both fists clenching.

All of their eyes got huge, as well as their ears, except the woman.

“Last night?” Zaykee gulped while looking at X. However, X’s jaw dropped.

“It’s not what you’re thinking!” X shouted while looking at Zaykee’s eyes then sighs.

“By the way, Zaykee,” X outstretched his right arm towards the loud woman, “This is Y,” he introduced.

Zaykee nods thrice with a lazy expression imprinted on his face. “I see, X and Y,” He sighs

“What’s the matter?” X asked.

“Nah, it was just… ” he gulped while looking at the ground, “I remembered math, which is my most hated subject, EVER.” He answered.

“Pft,” suddenly, X burst into laughter while holding his stomach using his both hands, “HAHAHA,” 

“WHY ARE YOU LAUGHING!?” Y asked with a high register voice.

“We’ve been together for many years, but you still don’t know that I hate math,” X answered.

“EHH?!”

X just nodded then went towards Zaykee while raising his left hand, “High-five, Z!” He requested. They both did a high-five with each other.

“High-five,” Zaykee said.

“What are we? X, Y, and Z?” Zaykee asked while scratching his right temple.

“Yeah, for the meantime, while we help you find the beta, omega, and sigma,” X answered.

“I see, thank you,” Zaykee thanked them.

“SO, LET’S GO TO THE NEAREST CITY SO THAT WE COULD SETTLE OURSELVES PROPERLY,” Y stated in a high register voice.

‘What?! Don’t tell me? I will live in the same house with this loud girl?’ Zaykee face-palmed. He looked at X and saw that he had the same expression as him.

After they walked for 2 hours, they already arrived at the nearest city from the deadly forest.

Zaykee sighs and says, “At last, we’re here.” He can’t help himself but sit on the ground. ‘Finally, I was away from that deadly forest, ’ he thought. 

Before entering the city, X gave Zaykee a mask and a black cloak similar to them. After that, they bought an apartment with three rooms for a one-week stay. In conclusion, Y decides to go out for groceries while X decides to hunt wild animals for food. Therefore, Zaykee was the only one left in their apartment.

‘Hmm, what should I do? Should I take a tour inside the city?’ Zaykee thought while lying on his single bed with both hands under his head. 

After a couple of minutes, his decision was final. He decided to take a tour inside the city. But before that, he wore the mask and cloak first.

While walking inside the city, he cannot help but lower his eyebrows because of what he sees. 'What's with this city?' he thought, 'Why does everything seem to be perfect?'

"Kyaa!"

Zaykee's body immediately turned to where the voice came from. 'It's a feminine voice,' he thought. Without hesitating, he went to the isolated area. Hence, he saw a chubby girl with short hair being bullied by other girls and boys that look perfect.

"Hey, what're you guys doing?" Zaykee asked in a monotone.

Right now, his distance from them was six meters apart, so they were able to hear him. Thus, the bullies look at Zaykee with a frustrated expression.

Zaykee looks at the chubby girl once again while starting to walk and then gazes back at the bullies. He asked, "Why are you guys bullying this beautiful girl?" 

The chubby girl's eyes widened because of Zaykee's unexpected sentence.

"It's none of your business!" said one of the boys.

"IT IS my business," Zaykee countered.

The boy who spoke dashes towards him and punches him using his left fist. However, as a gifted kung fu fighter in the past, even though his strength disappeared, his knowledge would never go away. In conclusion, he already anticipated his attack, that's why he moved his body to the right to dodge his attack. After that, he used his right foot to hit his tibia bone. Thus, that boy lost his balance and fell to the ground. 

"W-Wait guys!" One of the girls spoke with a trembling voice and gulped, "H-He is one of the--"

"--Of the what?" Zaykee spoke.

"Black cloak and a mask. That's a symbol for being a member of that dark organization!" The girl continued while having cold hands.

Everyone was shocked, including Zaykee. 'Dark organization?' he wondered.

"Run!" Said one of them and rashly ran, except the chubby girl.

Zaykee went beside the girl and helped her to stand.

"T-Thank you." The chubby girl thanked him while looking at the ground with a red face.

"Anytime," Zaykee said while looking at her face, "So, what's your name?"

"My name is Chub," She answered while still looking at the ground.

"Do you have an idea of what they were talking about earlier?" he asked.

"Oh, the dark organization," She stated.

"Yes," -Zaykee.

"The dark organization... all of them were dangerous humans. That's all I know, but there are countless rumors about them being the enemy of the government and being a blood lust that wants to take over the government so that they can torture many people." She said while looking at his eyes.

'At last, she looked at my eyes.' He thought.

"I like your eyes, they are beautiful, so why are you not looking at me?" Zaykee asked while looking at her.

"..." The girl was speechless. And after a few seconds she spoke, "Thank you... no one said those words to me, and it means a lot to me, how about you? what's your name?" 

"Zaykee, but you can call me, Z," Zaykee answered.

"Alright, nice to meet you, Z,"

"Nice to meet you too."

Meanwhile, an elementary boy was running outside their house with his eyebrows down and clenching teeth.

"Tch, stupid dad."

Zaykee and chub were now walking on the street while talking.

"I see, is that why they are bullying you? just because you look like that?"

"Yes..."

"I see."

"As you can see, this city is filled with perfect people, which is I don't belong," Chub said while looking at the people who were passing by too.

"You're wrong."

"How come?"

"There is no such a thing called 'perfect people', there are no perfect, each people had flaws."

"Ha?"

Zaykee nodded with a smile on his face behind the mask.

"Those people, if they are perfect they won't treat you like that," Zaykee stated.

"But..." Chub spoke and stopped from walking, "You know, if you are good-looking, people will give you special treatment, and if you're not, you're like a ghost."

Zaykee's eyes widened and gulped. Even though he can't understand her because he is popular in his old world, he somehow felt her.

"It's funny how this girl wants to change people's perspective," Chub said while keeping a forced smile.

"You can't change them," Zaykee answered that made chub's eyes widened.

"But at least, you can be the reason. I believe in you, fighting, Chubs!"  Zaykee energetically said with a smile.

"So, tell me more about this city."

They both started to walk again.

"This city was named 'The City of Perfection',"

"I see, and then?"

Chubs explained all the things about their city until the sun went down, so they both decided to go home and rest.

At the end of the day, Zaykee learned that most people living in this city were all perfectionists when it comes to physical beauty. In addition, there are still some people who were like chub.

 Moreover, like what chub said earlier, being handsome or beautiful will give you special treatments, such as respecting you, thinking highly of you, giving you presents, befriending you, justice is with you, favoritism is in your favor, and many more.

Despite living in this dangerous world, you still can live simply by the government's protection. But Zaykee's mind is still confused because of what Zenobios said, that they should not let the government see them or discover them.

In the end, he still was able to sleep despite having so many questions in his mind.

Meanwhile, inside a dark room, a man's dark green eyes glowed and said, "The time has come."
