Bella turned to face Evelyn, her eyes flashing with determination. "I have to go," she said, her voice firm. "Karen says she's seen Aaron with Adrian. I have to find out if it's true."

Evelyn stepped forward, her hands on her hips. "You can't just go running off alone, Bella. It's not safe."
