Sheila's POV

This was the first time I was killed in my second life, and it wasn't a pleasant feeling. I continued running; I didn't know how long I ran by the time I ran out of energy. There was a stream nearby, and I immediately ran to the stream to drink water. I gulped the water greedily and felt the energy returning to my body.

I looked up subconsciously and saw a dark gray wolf looking at me from a short distance away. The wolf appeared tall and huge, and my senses told me that I was no match for this wolf.

I immediately took off and started running again. The wolf chased after me. He was relatively faster and was catching up. I could tell he was an Alpha; his speed was just the same as Damian's, and he even looked faster.

Although my speed is considered to be fast among the other werewolves, I was no match for him.

The Alpha caught up with me and pounced on me forcefully, turning me over. He was so strong that I couldn't even resist.

I was pinned to the ground and had no choice but to revert to my human to show that I wasn't resisting again. The Alpha also transformed into his human form. I saw his face up close. He was so handsome with a well-chiseled face; his eyes were like the abyss, and he had a smirk on his face.

I was dazed and forced to look at him longer. His smirk intensified.

"What? Are you already in love with me, dear? It's our first time meeting; don't you think it's inappropriate to fall in love?" He said, leaning closer to me. I felt something on my lower body and was alarmed. Since both of us had transformed naturally, we had no clothes on.

I had been so nervous that I didn't notice at first. I used my last strength to push him out of my body. He wasn't expecting it, so I succeeded in pushing him away, causing him to roll on the ground.

I tried to run again, but he was already up on his heels. He ran forward and held my neck tightly.

"Where do you think you are going, my dear?" He said huskily and even leaned closer to my ears. His fingers traced around my body and almost touched my naked breast. My body shuddered involuntarily.

"Who are you?" He asked, raising my chin so I could meet his eyes. Looking at his dark abyss-like eyes, I felt like I was looking at an extremely dangerous creature. All my five senses screamed danger.

"Sheila," I answered.

"What park are you from?" He asked again.

"I don't have a park."

"What do you mean?" He tightened his grip, seemingly not believing me.

"I truly don't have a park; I used to live with my parents in a cave until they left one day and didn't come back," I screamed as hot tears fell from my eyes.

He paused, and his eyes looked a little gentle.

"Did I hurt you? I'm sorry," he made an attempt to wipe away the tears, but I quickly dodged his hands. He grunted but didn't say a thing.

"Overlord, here you are; we have been looking for you." A group of male and female werewolves walked out from the woods ahead. They were surprised to see the scene in front of them. They decided not to talk.

"You are a rogue wolf, so welcome to the family. I'm Zulu," he declared.

"Zulu!" The name rang a bell. Yes, now I remember the tyrant Zulu. He was a very notorious rogue wolf known for committing many atrocities and crimes, including raping and murdering female wolves. No wonder his face looked familiar.

In her past life, she had seen him once. He had a beef with Damian, and he took me to hunt down Zulu.

Zulu and his men were outnumbered at that time, and he was wounded and battered and looked nothing like his great self now.

"Please, can you release me? I don't want to join your pack; I just want to be alone.

"We're not a pack; we are a family made up of people like you." His voice sounded soothing.

"But I don't want to become a part of your family, please. Can you please release me? Please, I promise never to cross your territory again."

"This is not my territory," he replied coldly.

"Okay, then can you please just let me go?" I pleaded.

"Welcome to the family," he declared and released me. I felt very weak on my leg and had to lean on a nearby tree.

"Kia, get her some clothes," he ordered.

The girl called Kia came forward with some women's clothing. For no reason, she seems to hold a grudge with me.

I didn't think too much of it and went to a nearby cave to change.

When I came out, she nodded at me coldly. "I thought you had no backbone and would try to escape," she smirked.

"If you do, I won't blame you. This is not the paradise that you used to live in. Welcome to hell."

After that, I followed the group deep inside the forest. We walked until we reached their camp. There were a few men waiting in the camp. They immediately came forward to greet Zulu and welcome the others.

They held a little feast, which I wasn't part of. I huddled in the tent assigned to me, and soon I fell asleep.

I woke up with a start; I felt something like my body being violated. I woke up immediately and felt a hand touching my body and moving towards the forbidden zone. I smacked the hand away.

"Stay quiet!" It was Zulu.

The Legacy.Sheila's POV:The sun set over the Northern tribunal. I sat on the gallery of our home, Kloss close by, glancing out over the flourishing local area we had fabricated together. My brain meandered back to the start, to the youthful, stranded wolf I had once been."I neve

Then, at that point, reality crashed back, and with it, the heaviness of our desperate circumstance."The number of?" I asked, previously moving to accumulate my stuff.Kloss' face was inauspicious. "Too much. It seems to be Rasha's tossed all that she has at us. This is all there is to it, Sheila. The last fight."I gestured, attempting to subdue the apprehension ascending in my chest. "For us all."As the sun set, creating long shaded areas across the combat zone, I tended to our powers. "Today, we battle for ourselves, however for the eventual fate of all wolfkind. The last fight was coming, and we wanted each partner we could get. That is the reason, when Farkas moved toward me the following day, I was able to tune in notwithstanding my waiting doubt."Sheila," he said, his eyes discouraged. "I realize I've done horrendous things. I double-crossed the pack, deceived you. However, I need to make it right."I concentrated on him cautiously. The once pleased wolf looked pummeled, his fur tangled and his tail low. "How?" I asked, not horribly.Farkas took a full breath. "Allow me to go on an independent mission. I've heard bits of gossip about a strong relic concealed in Rasha's fortress. In the event that I can recover it, it could reverse the situation in support of ourselves."I glared. "That is staggeringly hazardous, Farkas. It very well may be a sna
