Sheila's POV

I Was assigned to the same quarter with the omegas. I was no omega; instead, I used to be a rogue wolf until I found the Westvale park, and they accepted me. But since I wasn't trusted enough, I had to live with the omegas until I made enough contribution.

"Sheila, what's wrong? Why are you looking like this?" A girl came out to welcome me and looked taken aback when she saw my appearance.

I smiled weakly. "It's nothing, Arla; it's just some bruises," I assured her. She looked at me up and down.

"In what way is this small?" She said in displeasure and came forward to help me. I allowed her to help me to my room.

"Please, Arla, I need a favor from you."

"What's it? I can do anything for you," she said with a kind smile.

"If the healer wolf comes, tell her that I'm not around, please," I looked at her pleadingly. She hesitated For a while before helplessly agreeing, I smiled delightedly. I knew she would agree; Arla was a real friend and had treated me well since I came to the park. In the past, I made her my personal aide when I became the second most powerful werewolf in the pack.

Stella was really very vicious with her beating. If the healer came and saw that my injuries were mostly healed, he would surely report it to Damian, and it might arouse suspicion. I remembered that it was exactly what happened in the past, and Damian had to visit me. At that time, I had a huge crush on him and couldn't hold back from telling him everything.

This time I will make sure the incident doesn't repeat. I lay on the bed while thinking of the best way to escape the park. I want revenge, but I can only get revenge if I remain alive. If I continue staying in Westvale, my end will be the same as in the past.

"But where do I go?" I wondered. After thinking for a while, I decided to go anywhere, so long as I leave this place. I can't bear to see Damian's pretentious face again. I made up my mind to escape tomorrow when we are sent to pick herbs.

Early the next morning, I was awakened by a knock. "Who's there?" I called out.

"It's me, can I come in?" I was shocked. It was Damian; what was he doing here?

"No, please don't," I said hurriedly, not wanting him to see that I'm fully healed with no scratches. It was a normal thing for a werewolf to heal very fast, but my healing ability was very abnormal. This speed of healing can only be achieved using herbs and special crystals.

"Why can't I? Is anything wrong?" His voice sounded like he was a little bit angered.

No, it wasn't what you think, my Lord; it's just that I wasn't proper," I lied.

"Oh, is that so? I understand then. Can you please come to my quarters after you are done?"

My heart started palpitating. Why does he want me to come to his chamber? This wasn't how things were supposed to happen, right? I thought that he wouldn't bother about me since he isn't yet aware of my ability.

"Yes, my Lord," I answered.

Once he was gone, I got up hurriedly. This time I had to escape no matter what, to avoid any incident. I quickly changed out of my night clothes and grabbed my herb basket, rushing outside.

Arla saw me and looked surprised.

"Why are you going for herb picking this early in the morning, and why do you look so energetic?"

I knew she was referring to how I looked yesterday.

"It's nothing, Arla; it's just small bruises, and they are already healed," I ran out before she could ask more questions.

Luckily no one stopped me from leaving when they saw the basket I was holding. They probably thought that I went out for herb gathering.

The moment I stepped outside the park area, I ran as fast as I could, sprinting through the forest. A gray figure flashed and blocked me. It was a werewolf.

"Who are you?" I asked worriedly.

The figure's body contracted, and it shifted into a blonde-haired man.

"Desmond," the name rang in my brain. He was a very evil man and always enjoys torturing the omegas. I remembered in the future he will try to rape me and was caught; Damian was angry and sentenced him to death.

Maybe he will be able to escape that fate in this lifetime.

"Where are you going?" He asked coldly.

"I am going for herb picking," I replied.

"If I recall correctly, this is not the area you use to pick herbs, huh?" He had a smile on his face and walked forward. I started retreating but increased his pace. I made up my mind and ran the other way immediately. He chased after me, I quickly shifted to my wolf form and continued fleeing. Desmond continued giving chase.

Even though I was faster, he clearly knew the forest just like his palm; he was able to use the terrains perfectly and soon he caught up to me and pounced on me. I had no choice but to fight back.

In the past, I wasn't much of a fighter when I just joined the pack. But after many years of fighting alongside Damian, I had gained a lot of battle experience, and even though my body wasn't strong enough now, it was enough for me to deal with Desmond.

I clawed him on his neck and sent him rolling with a deep gash on his neck; he lay on the ground as blood gushed out. He wasn't able to escape his fate even in this life; it seems like he was doomed to die.

I looked around cautiously while licking the wound on my shoulder. I decided not to transform into my human form since I don't have clothes to change into; besides, staying in the wolf form will allow me to run faster.

He had a smirk on his face, which made him look way more handsome than usual."You devil, don't dare get any closer to me." He sighed."Am I really that detestable?"I ignored his question and kept my guard up, ready to attack if he made any funny move. He stayed there, staring at me while I also stared back at him. After a while, he stood up."Forget it, I don't force myself on women that I really fancy. I will leave you this time. Just make sure you don't regret this." Sheila's pov As I lay pinned beneath this Alpha, his strong physique emanating strength and fire, my heart raced. My mind kept repeating the name Kloss. Northern Tribunal's Alpha. Ruler of the Northern Peak. Even in the most isolated areas of the werewolf population, there were tales of his might and brutality. I attempted to comprehend his recent declaration. I was astounded by his boldness in claiming me without my permission, but I was also taken aback by the intensity and unyielding resolve in his eyes. "You can't just—" I began, but he interrupted. "I can, and I have," he declared, refusing to back down. "Now get dressed." He gave me the freshly brought-in pair of clothes. I attempted to think of a plan as I dressed. I could not submit to the rule of another despot. Never again. Even when Kloss wasn't staring at me, I could feel his power and presence. He turned aside to give me some solitude. He turned back to confront me after I was dressed, his gaze gentler but no less menaci

I felt a mixture of emotions flowing inside of me as I stood at the window of my new rooms and observed the pack members going about their business. The extensive territory of the Northern Tribunal stood in sharp contrast to the unruly lawless terrain I had already experienced. It was well-run, vibrant, and, in spite of Kloss's intimidating reputation, I felt a sense of unity here that I had never experienced in Westvale. However, I was unable to let myself become at ease. Not quite yet. I had to remind myself that my goals were to live and exact revenge on Damian. I had to carefully negotiate this unfamiliar environment and play my cards well. I had to make sure I was safe.I turned away from the window to study the cabin more thoroughly. It was unexpectedly well-furnished, with a warm fireplace, a solid hardwood bed, and a tiny kitchen. There were also bookcases stocked with volumes about werewolf history, mythology, and strategies. The cabin felt almost like home, in stark contrast

As I became accustomed to the Northern Tribunal schedule, the days began to connect together. Training with Darius was exhausting yet fulfilling. Every morning, before dawn, I pushed myself to the utmost, determined to show my worth. The pack members looked at me with a mix of interest and distrust, but I didn't let that stop me. I was here to survive and, eventually, to exact my revenge. Despite my thorough preparation, I couldn't shake the impression that something was developing. There was a tension in the air, a feeling of unease that I couldn't identify. I frequently caught glimpses of Kloss overseeing the training fields, his gaze tracking my every movement. He was a constant presence, reminding us of the power dynamics at play.Elara found me by the creek one evening, after a particularly intense session, where I frequently went to clear my thoughts. "Sheila," she said gently, approaching with a wary smile. "You're doing exceptionally well. The pack is beginning to respect you

With Kloss by my side, I felt stronger than ever. Later that evening, after supper, Kloss and I went back to his study to review the day's events and plan our next actions. Maps and scrolls scattered the enormous wooden table, which was illuminated by a faint glow of candlelight. Bollard joined us, reporting on the most recent patrols and scouting activities around the eastern boundaries."Rogue activity has increased," Bollard said gravely. "We intercepted a group attempting to breach our defenses near the River Fang." Kloss frowned, perusing the map in front of us. "Any casualties?" "Minor injuries," Bollard responded. "But we drove them off before they could do any real damage." I listened closely, my mind racing with

Sheila's POV:The fight in the mining tunnel was serious however short. Our little opposition group battled with a savagery that appeared to shock the shadow wolves. We were starting over, with Rasha's powers shutting in.That is when Kloss thought of a hazardous arrangement."We really want to return," he said, his eyes flickering earnestly. "Back to Rasha's region."I gazed at him, contemplating whether he'd flipped out. "Return? Kloss, that is self destruction!"He shook his head. "Not assuming that we're savvy about it. Consider it, Sheila. Rasha controls a colossal region now. There should be wolves and people who could do without her standard. In the event that we could track down them, coordinate them..."I started to see where he was going. "An underground opposition," I relaxed.Kloss gestured. "Precisely. We can't beat Rasha head-on. Yet, from within? We could get an opportunity."It was risky. Staggeringly hazardous. Yet, as I took a gander at our battered, les

The camp was tranquil, however it was anything but a serene calm. It was the calm before a tempest.I was chatting with Kloss and Thorne, attempting to think of an arrangement to join our broke partnership, when we heard it. A yell, dislike any I'd heard previously. It was loaded up with murkiness and disdain, and it made my fur stand on end."Rasha," I murmured, my heart dashing.Kloss' eyes broadened. "She's here? Be that as it may, how could she track down us?"Before anybody could reply, the air around us appeared to obscure. It resembled the light was being sucked away. Then, from the shadows at the edge of our camp, they came.Shadow wolves, many of them, their eyes shining red. Also, at their head was Rasha. However, she appeared to be unique. More grounded. Seriously frightening. Dull energy popped around her like dark lightning."Hi, little L
