BOOK 2: Wendy, the Banished Witch

'Push!' the midwife ordered.

'Arhhh!' Wendy said as she bore down.

'You'll have to do better than that!' the midwife admonished her. 'Do you want your baby to be a still birth? Push harder!'

Taking a deep breath, and thinking that she didn't know giving back birth would be as difficult for her as it was, she bore down with all her strength. 'Arhhhhhh!' And the baby's head broke forth. Then the midwife with her hands in a glove, pulled the head of the baby till the baby slipped out.

'It's a lovely girl!' the midwife said. 'So beautiful! The Dad must have been very goodlooking'.

Wendy hissed in disappointment. She had hoped her baby was going to be a boy so that he could get a position in his father's kingdom but still, her daughter was a hybrid and the midwife was right, she was beautiful and looked so much like her father.

'I can still make use of her to get my vengeance', she thought and use her blood to fortify my powers'.

'Have you thought of a name for her?' midwife asked.

'Roxy'
