Stepping into his room, she heard Sidney clap mockingly. " And here comes the maid turning brothers backs against each other!"

And that made Keira to freeze at the spot. His outburst- it wasn't only accusing but of mockery and jest. Her face drooped, her feet digging further into the titled flooring as she wonders if to opt out and run or stay back to receive the worst- accusations.

Sidney chuckled as he saw the way her face paled, quite enjoying her suffer.

" Come on, give me my tea." He waved her over and that was when she found the hunch to move from her rooted spot.

She went over and placed it on the small table. She retreated, about turning around to take her leave when she heard him say, " Stay back, we need to talk."

And that shocked her to the narrow bone. He still wants to talk? What about the one he had just spat out at her? Hasn't he spoken all he needed to?
