Epilogue

A year had passed since I received the letter that Alexandria handed to me during the chaotic wedding day of Oceane and Hugo. I finally got to call that man by his real name.

It’s also been a year and a half since he didn’t came back from his so-called business trip. After reading the content of the letter, my whole world almost collapsed. I wanted to call him but I have no means to do so since his number was no longer available as well as is his email and social media accounts. They were all deactivated and deleted. Not even his family and close friends were able to contact him and Giovanni.

The sound of the sea as the waves gone back and forth from the shore back to the ocean gave calmness to my soul as I stared at the fiery red with a tinge of yellow and orange hue sky, waiting for the sun to set and wishing that tomorrow... a bright new day... he would comeback to me.
