The lady squatted on the ground, talking to herself as the spirit nagged her about this and that. She was really petty, even going as far ad shout in her ears all day. If only she could properly turn a deaf ear to all her ramblings maybe she could get a peaceful sleep.
Hellion felt so tired, her eyelids growing heavier as she constantly nod her head off, dozing for a bit. The spirit once again, startled her awake by her screams. She was like a broken pipe letting out steam everywhere on her head.
“Don’t fall asleep! You foolish human stop exhausting my abilities!” The voice roared inside her head.
Hellion covered her ears but it was useless as the shrill screams became louder and louder. Hellion felt depressed, she barely gotten any sleep and she don’t even know where she is and now she have a noisy spirit bickering endlessly within her.
Everything was really unbearable.
Hellion sobbed, sulked like a child throwing a tantrum. The spirit look at her irritatingly as the cold pair of eyes in the abyss suddenly opened themselves again. The spirit shuddered in fright as the cold gaze forcefully put her into silence.
She hurled in the corner, trembling as the eyes coldly watched her. The spirit can’t take it anymore and finally fainted in fright. The eyes then closed themselves again. Hellion paused, sensing that the spirit didn’t made a noise anymore. She quietly sat up, wiped her tears with the back of her hand as she basked herself into the silence.
Hellion stared in the empty darkness, sad. She wanted to sleep and thus she forced herself to sleep but the mood wasn’t there anymore. She sighed softly in her heart and looked into the abyss, dazed.
Is this where she stays? Whether she’ll survive or not no one would care. She rubbed her stomach for a bit as the small bump felt so warm on her palms. She carried a life she didn’t want but she was not heartless. She won’t abandoned such an innocent child just because of her hate.
True. She hated that man who saved her, she hated him for making her grovel in the ground, she hated that he treated her like a dog, ordering her from here and there as he forcefully made her wag her tail to him.
Hellion never felt so betrayed before, he saved her before but he chained her again. She hated the fact that the man is so twisted and vile for engraving himself to her. She hated the fact that he raped her, impregnated her without her consent.
Why is he doing all this to me? Hellion felt so tired that she wanted to cry but she couldn’t shed tears. Such a vile person doesn’t deserved it.
She already told herself she’d never cry because of him.
She already told herself she won’t show him that she felt so weak and helpless but why does he always appear when I need someone to save me? Why is it always him who sees my weak side? Why is it only him who always see me cry?
Hellion sobbed in her heart, thinking that he probably wanted to see her suffer more because he was there, always. Always showing up just to save her, humiliate her and trample her injured pride.
But even so, the devil always came whenever she thinks of him and right now the only thing inside her mind was the hopeful thought that he would come and save her again. As if a string had been pulled, Hellion eyes flickered as a sudden gust of wind blew past her face.
She then heard the faint footsteps from her back. Probably because she already knew, she didn’t put up her guards anymore. Her eyes instantly brim with tears.
It was him, it can only be him.
She turned her head into the darkness as the very devil gradually revealed himself in the dark.
Xegris stopped just a meter away from her. His eyes never changed, cold, unpleasant and deep. Hellion had never been able to read his emotions. His pupils had no shred of feeling in them but he…
He still cares for her. Seek for her….
He would always be there when she was in despair and just like before, he showed himself before her. Hellion sniffed as she slowly supported herself to stand up but her legs had long felt weak. Xegris came towards her and reached out his hand tucking the girl into his arms. He then sighed in relief as he tighten his clutch on her.
“Why are you crying again? You’re face really looks ugly when you cry.”
He coldly said to her but for the first time, Hellion felt a hint of worry in his voice. Her lips slightly trembled for a bit as the words of gratitude refused to come out of her mouth. She stared at his face for a while without a word as she finally closed her eyes, peacefully falling asleep into his arms.
Xegris felt her breathing stabilize as the person finally drift back to sleep.
He let out a sigh of relief as he glared into the darkness. The whole space instantly shook as the black matter moved slightly in the abyss. Xegris pulled something in the air as the hellish black flame form in his palm. He nonchalantly flicked it towards the black miasma as the whole shadow revealed itself.
It let out a loud cry as the very silhouette turned into a person. A pair of white orifices glared madly at him as the darkness moved towards the two person in a flash. Xegris clicked his tongue and formed a sphere of black flames in his front.
What a stubborn fellow, harming my wife with your lowly skills. You are truly confronting death.
He then flicked his fingers as the black fire shoot towards the person approaching them. The silhouette let out a mournful shriek as the flames engulfed themselves into his body, burning the being into a total nothingness. Xegris pulled Hellion into his arms as he carried her in a bridal style, beginning to walked away.
The silhouette scream in agony as the black fire tore every part of his flesh. He then glared at the Demon walking away and lunged himself towards them. Xegris gritted his teeth in irritation. What a persistent piece of shit.
He snapped his fingers loud making the whole space shook as the rumbling sound echoed all over the place. Xegris covered Hellion ears as the loud scream of agony rang all over the place. The silhouettes screamed in pain as the flames devoured his body leaving only his head full of blackness.
Xegris glanced side-eyed and finally walked towards the head lying motionless in the ground. He motioned in the air as the head was lifted into his front. He then clenched his fist, crushing the black matter in the atmosphere.
The miasma dissipated instantly revealing a purple crystal left hovering in the air. Xegris smiled as he looked at the woman in his arms. He then guided the crystal into Hellion’s chest, allowing itself to be completely absorbed into her core.
Hellion felt relaxed as a cool sensation seeps into her nerves. Xegris then smiled in satisfaction.
Only his Queen would get everything that is his. Only her can have all the power in the world and only her could totally destroy him.
But why does it matter when she’s his?
Xegris lowered his head as he planted a kiss on her lips. He then whispered into her ears.
“Everything will be yours but you’ll only be mine. Even in life and death, we’ll never be apart.”
“We deeply apologize Your Majesty! We neglected our duties and let the Queen be exposed to danger! Please bestow us our punishment.” The trio kowtowed in the ground as they all smack their heads to beg. Xegris only gave them a dangerous glare as he silently clutched the woman in his arms. His eyes soften a bit, seeing the beautiful sleeping face of the person. Her eyelashes fluttered as her lips occasionally twitch. Hellion was in a deep sleep ever since he picked her up from that distorted space, he never let go of her, not even once letting her lay in the bed to sleep, only, persistently holding her into his arms as he moved around carrying her like a precious treasure. Dev pursed her lips, her negligence might led her into demotion. If the lord was displeased with her, she might be reduced into a lowly demon, not being able to use magic anymore. Everyone in the demon realm was under his control, the twelve arch demons which was only a mere ant in his eyes. If he wanted to get rid
“I’ve been lenient enough to all the beatings you did to me… And you know what. I long wanted to get even with you.” Hellion climb upon the bed as she tower over Xegris. The man simply give her a nonchalant look, watching her very image burst into tears. Xegris shifted and lie down on his back while Hellion sat on his lap. She sniffed as her hands tried to wipe away the tears in her cheeks. She cried, tears flowing nonstop as the piled up emotions within finally burst out making her unable to hold back anymore. She look at the man underneath her who simply watched her and listened to her soft sobs. His eyes flickered as their gazes met. Hellion continued to wept as the man eventually reached out his hand to her. “I told you not to cry, you’ll stain your beautiful face.” Xegris wiped the tears on her cheeks as she coldly look into his eyes. His heart throbbed in pain as he couldn’t bear to see her wept. He was never a good man, just an unfeeling bastard devoid of any emotions. He h
“M-my Queen…are you alright?” Dev hesitantly asked as she carried a basin of warm water in her arms. Hellion glanced at her in a dazed her eyes still misty from the steamy night she just had. Dev put the basin down and hurriedly grabbed a wet cloth. She then supported Hellion to sat up as the body was gradually revealed under the sheets. Dev widened her eyes in shock as she spotted the red marks all over her body as the very person’s head was still in a mush. Dev pursed her lips and rejected the silly thoughts on her mind. She then slowly wiped off her hands as the strong scent reached the tip of her nose. Thi-this! The demon girl blushed. How many times did they even done it? The scent still lingers on her body as the visible trace of last night’s tragedy was engraved on the sheets. Hellion trembled a bit, her body aches all over and particularly the part on her inner thighs. She look at Dev as the demon was wipes her in deep seriousness. She then help her into putting on some c
“How’s your sleep?” Hellion’s total impression of Xegris was a scumbag, arrogant freak who would hiss his displeasure every day in her ears. He was an unfeeling b*st*rd who always had nauseating thoughts and of course, a goddamn perverted mind. He was the very embodiment of evil. His beauty was unparalleled in this world and he was a very impatient jerk who loves to order people like a tyrant. Hellion thought at first that God was really blind and petty for letting a person like him exist. And then, she realized his real identity, he was a demon lord. Back then, she thought that it was normal for him to be, insanely cruel to her as he chained her, hit her and let her eat poisonous foods. She was so terrified back then, so scared to the point she already lost her mind and retaliate. She recognized the fact that demons are supposed to be like that but then she still haven’t understand why. Blame it on her stupid brain, she really can’t comprehend him. He did this and that, all the th
“Go out?” Hellion asked in disbelief. She was used to staying in the dark, isolated room and had no complaints or whatever but now Xegris suggested to go out? Hellion was deeply confused. It’s not like him to suddenly do something like this, even the past few days seems like a goddamn puzzle for her. And the only question that she could never answer at all was, ‘Why is he being nice?’ Xegris nodded calmly and said to her. “The weather is nice today so we should take a stroll.” Hellion silently stared at him for a moment. What’s wrong with him now? Hellion furrowed her brows as she stared at his deadpan face. As she was going to reject the offer, Xegris halted her. “This rooms quite stuffy. Why don’t we get some nice air outside hm?” Hellion just raised her brow and simply answered. “I guess.” “Then let’s go.” He then took her wrist as he pulled her towards the door. Hellion obediently followed him while looking at their joint hands with a blank expression on her face. Xegris s
“You seem to be more troubled this days. Is there something bothering you?” A faint, worried voice attended her ears as the low footsteps walked into the room. Elaine settle the tray on the table as she poured her a cup of tea. Jeulle withdraw the pen on her hand and slowly took a sip. She then shifted her gaze on her friend’s anxious face. Elaine, receiving a strange look from her felt a bit uneasy, she pursed her lips and finally found the courage to speak up her mind. “Maybe, it was really a bad idea to accept the prince’s proposal. He suddenly left without a trace as soon as you approve. Maybe you should—” Elaine flinched and instinctively lowered her head after sensing a dangerous gaze from her. Jeulle’s face was contorted into a deep frown as she look at her with a hint of dismay. She stared at Elaine for a sec and didn’t speak, only, only giving her a weird, unfathomable look as if she was saying an absurd joke. Jeulle chortled a bit as she stared at her with subtle tension
”My Lord, a human broke into the boundaries. Should we bring him to you?” Dev asked as she cupped her hand towards the two person sitting in one chair. Hellion simply sat on Xegris lap while the demon occasionally twirl her hair around his fingers. He would sometimes touched her ears making the human felt utterly embarrassed. What is this bast*rd doing in front of Dev! Hellion thought as she covered her face in shame. Xegris just chuckled at her shyness as he grin like a fool in front of his servants. Dev cleared her throat as she avert her gaze to her side. The twin also ignored the picture and just remain in silence. Soon, Xegris finally felt their presence in the room as he roughly turned his head towards the three. “Just let him be.” “Yes, My Lord.” Dev said as she respectfully bowed at him. Xegris then waved his hand seeming to lose interest in the topic anymore. He cast them away from the room and finally turned her attention towards the woman on his lap. Xegris let out a p
Clsnk! The cup shattered on the ground. Dev trembled as the sharp gaze pierced through her flesh. The Lord was benevolent enough to let them accompany Her Highness on the street however because of their negligence, she was force to recuperate back to her room. Xegris clawed his hair up as the veins popped on his forehead. His crimson eyes were brimming with fury. He was only away for a while but his wife suddenly collapsed! Who wouldn’t be mad at that? How stupid can this servants be?! Dev lowered her head, her body shaking with fright. She then cupped her trembling hands and blurted out the truth. “My Lord, The Queen only took a bite on the bun and suddenly collapsed. She…she would be better after a while…” She said in a shaky voice. The sweat poured out like a stream of fear, trickling down her cheeks as the throat suddenly became sparse. Dev gulped down, trying to pull herself back to her original composure. “What?!” Xegris almost choked out of anger. He clearly told them not
