Jack observed the captives for some time, especially Liliana whom he was convinced had already gone Crazy and was acting out of her obsession with the Alpha.

It was still a wonder to him how Liliana managed to still be alive even after proofs pointing to the fact that she died in that fire were blaring.

Jack kept staring at Liliana in curiosity, he would have sworn that there was no way she would have come back to life but she was right there in a cell room in the dungeon, making lots of noise and creating scenes that one would find annoying and unpleasant.
