Never looking back

Mirabel who had been watching Connor from the time he entered the kitchen till when he struggled into his room came out of Kourtney's room where she had been hiding.

A satisfied smile played on her lips as she watched Connor stagger into his room. Unknown to him or his mother, Mirabel had sneaked into the kitchen a few minutes after Kourtney left and had spiked the fruit juice which Kourtney had left for her son, Connor.

She clapped her hands excitedly and let out a gleeful cackle before tiptoeing into the room Connor shared with Carolina. She made sure to close the door without making a sound so as not to alert Kourtney before proceeding to lock it securely.
