Never again

Hardulph winced painfully and slowly opened his eyelids which had been closed since he was knocked out by Mirabel.

His head ached badly and his eyes felt heavy, Hardulph was strangely tired and he began to wonder what was amiss with his system.

At first, his eyesight was blurred and he couldn't make out where he was or the objects before him. He could tell that someone was before him because of how thick his scent was.

Hardulph shook his head violently and blinked countlessly before opening his eyes to behold Liliana who was just in front of him and glaring daggers at him.

Hardulph's eyes widened and his mouth became dry in an instant. He couldn't believe what he was seeing and thought maybe he was in a dream.

He tried to pinch himself to confirm the possibility of seeing correctly only to realize that his hands were tied from behind and he was on a wooden chair.

Hardulph tried to wriggle free from the clutches of the rope that was used to hold him down but his efforts were futile. T
