She bent to his ear making sure her hot breath fanned against his ears in the process, "I killed her" she whispered the last part and howled out in laughter not minding how he felt about the news.

Connor felt his whole body turn cold as fear engulfed him, he heard Liliana's words to Hardulph clearly.

"Would this also be Carolina's fate?" He wondered within himself as he swallowed harshly watching Hardulph who was still trying to process the information that his pregnant mate was no more.

His only family had just been taken away from him in a day by a mere female, it was such a blow to his heart.
