The recent earthquakes had a very large magnitude. It left a large crack in the ground almost the same depth as a very high cliff. There was no way she could survive if she fell into it.
But someone caught her hand. And when she looked up, she was very surprised because it was Jade.
"I won't get my answer if you die," Jade panted. She had barely avoided the crack in the ground that nearly engulfed her. "So, you can't die. Come up! Don't give up on this damn earthquake!”
Aftershocks followed, this time stronger than the previous. But Jade didn't give up. She pulled Amora with all her might until she managed to help Amora back to the surface.
