Chapter 27: Don't Get The Wrong Idea

Gale was obviously checking her out and Evie felt uncomfortable with that. She pressed herself more to Alex while smiling awkwardly.

Alex saw this and he looked at Gale dead in the eyes.

“Do you have anything else to say? I wonder if you prefer your eyes stay in its socket or out of its place. You choose and I’ll help you with it.” Then he grinned.

The way Alex say the words made the other party gulped hard and shivered instantly.

Gale said his goodbye in a hurry and left without looking back.

“That’s mean. You don’t need to say that.”

Evie told him with soft tone. She knew he was angry and didn’t want to bail his anger out even more.

But she still want to remind him, that those words were not nice to say.

“I don’t like the way he looked at you with his dirty eyes.” He simply said and Evie sighed in defeat.

After other people left from there, Evie and Alex still stood side by side, looking at Alex’s parents’ tomb.
