Rori.

After the conversation in my father's office, I left with Ben, leaving my father, Danny, and Adam to discuss security issues. My mother scurried off to no doubt make last-minute party plans with Casey and Dottie. Eoin disappeared off to warrior training. I knew Ben should be at training, but he hung back to fall into step with me. We walked in silence before Ben broke first, and he reached out and caught my hand. The warmth of the action instantly soothed my nerves.

"You okay?" he asked softly, concern in his features.

"Yes." I sighed slightly tired and wearily.

"Liar." he smirked, yanking me suddenly by the hand so I spun into his broad solid chest. I loved feeling small and safe in Ben's arms. Ben leant down slowly, his lips finding mine as he placed a searing yet soft kiss on them. He growled slightly as I responded eagerly, my own body hungry for my mates touch. He manoeuvred me slightly, so we were now tucked into one of the wide halls, slight alcoves that housed a marbl

Ben. I was nervous, so nervous as I stood on the deck of the Royal lakehouse. The candles my friends had helped me float out onto the lake, twinkled on the surface of the lake in a breath taking scene. The deck was also lit by candles, and dinner for two was set out. I adjusted my dress shirt again as I watched the limo containing my beautiful mate glid to a stop. one of her warrior gaurds stepped out and opened the door before retreating back into the perimeter of the lake house. One of the reasons I had picked here and not some upscale restaurant was because the house was secured like the Palace, and I knew the Kings gaurd would fall back, giving us complete privacy. She looked around in awe at the beautiful lit lake, and I could see her eyes light up. The dress I had bought with the help of Amira, Morgan, and Sage along with the shoes was worth every penny. It fell over her flawless skin and shimmered in the moonlight. it moved with every movement she made, making her look every bi

RoriI saw the moment I got Ben to lose his gentleman's resolve. He cracked beautifully and sexily as he scooped me into his arms and carried me to the bed. He tossed me on it, and his eyes darkened as my breasts bounced at the impact with the mattress. He swiftly pulled his boxers off and stood before me in his full glory. My eyes fell on his large Alpha manhood as he fisted it slightly, knowing I was looking. "You want this?" he asked me as I nodded my tongue, darting out to moisten my suddenly dry lips. "Take off your panties." he demanded in a tone that surged want to my core. I lifted my hips and removed them, tossing them at him with a giggle. He reached down and pulled me onto my knees. I was kneeling on the edge of the bed when he pulled me close to kiss me again. His hand moved between our bodies, and his fingers found my sensative bundle of nerves as he began to stroke it, pulling moans and gasps of pleasure from me. Lying me back on the bed , he continued to kiss me as he

Ben I was leaving the office after filling Danny and Adam in on the strange behaviour of the lady Luna Turner towards Rori and had decided I needed a weight lifting work out to burn off some steam. My desire for my mate was insane but I knew this was normal after marking a mate. The fact that I was currently living with my in laws didn't really help in the honeymoon phase but once this was over and Anthony was out of our lives for good I planned on taking Rori somewhere nice. Once at the warriors gym, I opened my locker and pulled on some training shorts, and tossed a shirt over my shoulder. No one in the weight room wore shirts, but it was normal to have one nearby in case. On entering, I spotted Eoin lifting at the bench press and James spotting him. Eoin sat up as I walked towards them with a small smirk as he moped his brow. "Is it true?" he asked as I raised an eyebrow. "Are you officially one of the family?" "Was I ever not?" I mused thinking of all the moments we had spent g

  • The Princess And The Bear   28. A night of Love and Masquerade

Rori. I saw little of Eoin, James, my dad, or more importantly, my mate Ben over the two days that led up to the masquerade ball. I was primped and primmed to an inch of my life. My hair shone like never before, and my nails had been painted. Casey, Daphne, and my mother had me spray tanned, waxed, and polished to the highest royal standard. I liked all the girlie things in life, but since I mated with Ben, I just wanted to be with him. The constant parade of people who weren't my mate was grating on me. All I wanted was Ben and maybe a private island somewhere. Sun, sea, and sex I day dreamed at the thought. "Rori." My mother called sounded annoyed and hassled now. "What in Goddesses' name are you daydreaming about she fussed. "Ben, a secluded beach and cocktails." I replied as Daphne laughed. "Oh, now you're talking." Daphne mused. "Yes, well, we would all love the time to do that, but right now, I have guests ascending from the four corners of the world. Your father and the wa

After waking up to my mate staring at me before she explained her dream with the moon goddess, we had tried to work out what was possibly different with her wolf and Eoins. However, that had then descended into a sexy hot tryst that I was no day dreaming about at breakfast. Rori had joined Sage, Amira, and Kayda for breakfast, and I was left to join Eoin, James, and Ash. They were busy extracting details from James own hot tryst with some girl at the party. "Who was she, dude?" Ash asked. "No idea that was the hot bit we left our masks on and didn't give any names or details." he smirked. "Surely you could scent her?" Eoin asked. "That's the weird thing she had no scent. I'm nearly sure she was human. I was so drawn to her, and I swore I could feel tingles when I touched her, but that's impossible, right?" he asked as I shrugged. "Then this morning she was gone when I woke just like that vanished into thin air." he sighed. "sounds like the perfect one night stand to me." Eoin smi

Rori. "Are you going to tell us why we're all under guard for breakfast, or are you simply going to pretend everything is normal, mother?" I asked as an omega set platters of breakfast foods before us. Choosing to ignore me, Mother turned to Sarah, one of the head omegas, and asked her to send something up to my father and the others in his office. "Mother?" I snapped, annoyed now. "Darling, everyone is watching." My mother snapped back as Ash entered with Kayda looking irked. He sat next to me. "What is going on?" I asked him."No idea. Eoin, James, and Ben were summoned by dad, and I was sent here to the kiddies table with Kayda on mother's orders." he huffed. I looked around. My mother was here, obviously with Ash, myself, and Victoria. Beta Casey was here with her younger daughter. Gamma Dottie was here with Sage, Kayda, and young Scarlet. Some of the warriors' mates who were pregnant were also nearby. Any wolf of high ranking or in a vulnerable state was in this room. "What

Eoin. My sister was a strong wolf, and I was fully on board with her, knowing what was happening to Ben's home pack. I knew my father agreed deep down, but I guess fear as a parent led to some inner battle. He was busy now pulling warriors to send with us. I lean against the black SUV, watching Max say goodbye to Daphne on the Palace steps before he joined me. Once he tossed his bag inside he joined me in silence. Rori came next, her hair tied up, her clothing changed now, and a small gear bag in her hand. "Ready?" She asked tossing it in. We nodded just as my parents elated from the Palace entrance. "Wait." my mother called as she tossed herself at us. " Be safe." she whispered. My father embraced us also but stayed silent until I heard someone else approaching us. I raised an eyebrow as I saw Adam and James walk towards us, each carrying a bag. "I can't go, but I'm sending the next best thing. Listen to Adam." Dad began then turning towards Rori he pulled her close. "You're mar

Ben My eyes flew open, and the harsh white lights hanging over where I lay burned into my sensative eyes, forcing me to close them with a groan. Pain rippled through my body as I felt more and more now. I could smell the chemicals and antiseptics of the Palace clinic. I could scent my mate very faintly, but it was clear she wasn't nearby. That idea forced me to re open my eyes and look around the room slightly panicked. My worry increased when my eyes fell on the Queen Charlie sitting in an armchair by my bed, her eyes closed in sleep. "Charlie." I croaked all formalities lost, and right away, she opened her eyes, tossing the blanket off her knees she rushed to my bedside. My throat and mouth were dry, and she knew this as she picked up the cup of water with a straw and placed it to my lips. I took a long drink, glad of the cooling sensation that rushed down my throat. "Where is Rori?" I asked as she put the water down. "At the Big Paw Pack Lands." she replied. "What?" I was shock

Rori.(One Year Later) I watched as Teddy wobbled towards my laughing parents as they bent down to greet him. His chubby little hands out stretched to be picked up. He had only begun walking a few days prior right in time for his first birthday. My father was holding my now nearly one and half year old brother David, who was just as eager to see his little cousin. He reached for me as I scooped David up, and Ben and I note fussed over him as my parents did the same over their first grandchild. Eoin and Amira were next through the door with Amira carrying a large blue paper wrapped gift with a large silver bow. I greeted and embraced them warmly. Ash, my younger brother, arrived with my sister Victoria perched on his shoulders along with his best friend Kayda. James barreled in moments later with some random girlfriend he was passing the current week with. My aunt Daphne, Uncle Max, came next with their kids along with Danny and Dottie and their youngest Scarlet in Danny's arms. Once A

Ben"Isn't it perfect?" my mate cooed as she showed me the finishing touches on our cubs nursery. The pack was alive and buzzing with the news. We had spent the last few months getting our own house in Big Paw Pack ready, and this was the last room my mate had completed. She had taken extra care in picking every item that went into this room. She had pondered over every detail with amazement and happiness. "It's amazing." I agreed, but I was looking at her and not the room before me. I know it's a cliche, but my mate glowed, her red hair shone as it fell loose over her shoulders. She was wearing a pair of soft leggings and a soft off the shoulder beige jumper. Her rounded bump was now in full bloom, and I now fully understood the words I had heard her very own father say that he himself never loved his mate more than when she was carrying his pups. It all made sense to me now and despite the initial shock at our news, my now long since healed black eye from her twin brother when he fo

Rori. Since it was confirmed I was pregnant a few mere hours ago, I now felt it was so obvious. I was suddenly always starving it had to be psychological, right? I grumbled to myself. I was looking in my parents' fridge as I dug around, moving all her cheese. It would have been so simple if I shared my mother's pregnancy obsession with cheese, but sadly, I did not. I looked up with an excited expression when I scented Sage enter. "Sage." I called as I launched myself into her open arms. She giggled under my weight as she hugged me back. "Doughnuts?" She asked as I gasped. "Yes, thank god you're a life saver." I sighed as I grabbed some mugs and poured the freshly brewed coffee. "So what's been going on with you?" I asked through a mouthful of sugar glazed doughnuts icing that was now smeared across my lips. "A lot." Sage sighed. I paused my chewing. "Oh?" I said, encouraging her. "There's a guy." she sighed. "Oh, a guy?" I concealed my smile. "Anyone I know?" I asked. "No, h

BenSo there it was my whole life changed in the space of an afternoon. I had a secret feeling my mate wanted this more than I realised, and now two lines on a white stick had confirmed what we suspected. I was destined to be a young everything , I was a young shifter shifting at three years old in response to the presence of my mate and the issues in the royal pack at the time, I was a young mate, a young warrior and now it would seem I was to be a young father. I was really happy if all be it a little nervous. I hadn't even worked out how the bear pack would protect Rori, never mind a pregnant Rori. I also wondered when I should tell Aiden so he was aware of the added complications, but Rori had sworn me to silence while we were skinny dipping in our lake spot last night. She wanted it to be just our secret for now, but I did remind her wolves would smell it, and high-ranking wolves had a very good sense of smell. She hoped it would just come across as my scent, so I didn't disagree.

Rori. I smelled like him but more like him. What was he on about. I was slightly annoyed when he stopped kissing me and started sniffing me like he was on a mission. When he pressed his nose to the soft skin above my belly button, he looked up at me his eyes wide, and I stared back awkwardly. "No." I said aloud in my head, but conveniently, my wolf Tara was silent. I looked into Ben's face and I knew what he was thinking as I did the math on my last period and well it didn't work out in a number that allowed me to reasure him convincingly, with everything that had gone on in the past month and after my heat I hadn't kept track. He pressed his nose again to my stomach and breathed in my scent. "Well?" I asked him as he pulled away slightly. "Well, what?" he asked as I noticed his face was a little pale. "Well, we go get you your ice cream, wait and see at an appointment with Dr Teller, or we go to the drug store and get a test?" he responded. I pondered his options. "Drug store." I

Ben. The Vampire's report supported what my mate had suspected, and I was sure now she was right. Anthony had agreed to allow Madame Lux place him under a spell to replay his keys memories in an attempt to prove he thought he was acting on the moon Goddesses behalf and not his own plight for a higher title. I personally never liked the guy, but then he was a threat to my mate, so instinctively, we were never going to be best friends. The guys Arthur,Eoin, James, and Ash as Alpha's and Beta blood never felt the same as me. Now Rori was marked by me I didn't feel as strong in some ways but then I was reminded of him forcing himself on her and this was why I asked King Emmett and Beta Adam to leave me out of the deliberations regarding Anthony. They had agreed, and I was happy to leave it in the hands of her father. I was now sitting with my future Gamma Aiden as we went over Rori's new detail. I wanted to ask the King to remove his men from her service, but I needed to make sure she wa

Rori. Ben didn't give me shit about my quest to save Anthony he just supported me. After the council and my request for an in-depth look at exactly what Anthony was guilty of, he hadn't judged me. In fact, he had stated to the council when asked that he stood by me. What more could a girl want in a mate I laughed as Tara agreed. Big, tall, handsome body of Adonis and willing to stand by me. He had spent all evening making me forget, so by the time I was hungry enough to head to the kitchen where my parents sat, I felt like jelly. The bliss was running through my veins. "I brought you two up a plate from the pack hall." my mom called as I unwrapped the foil to peek inside. "Steak and baked potatoes." I told Ben as he nodded, and I loaded it into the oven to warm up. "I hear you want Anthony to be re investigated." My mom called from the seating area where she was cuddled up with my dad. I smiled for all the world they looked like two teenagers, my dad's hand resting on the slightly

BenI watched Rori bite her lip as she considered my question. What could she possibly be angling at here. "Rori?" I prompted, raising my eyebrow. "I have a strong feeling here, Ben, that Anthony isn't to blame." she sighed. I couldn't believe this when it came to Anthony she always had a soft spot for this overconfident idiot Alpha. He always irked me, and I was willing to bet that was the possessive nature in me, but to me, Anthony had no redeeming positives. "Rori, he led an attack on my pack." I said. "Our pack," I added, emphasising the our. She shook her head. "That's just it, Ben. I don't believe he led anything. Do we have solid proof that Anthony hurt anyone?" She said as my mouth fell open. "Rori, he tried to force himself on you to mark you forcefully." I reminded her, trying hard to keep the anger from my tone. "Yes, he did on his mother's orders, and under the belief he had held his whole life that he was doing what the moon goddess wanted." she replied. "That doesn

RoriYup, I was being childish. I knew this, but something about being back under my parents' roof always made me rivert back to a childish, moody teenager. I was well aware of this when I slammed my bedroom and was even more aware of it when I dramatically tossed myself face down on my bed, but I had committed now to the dramatic tantrum. I lay there alone whilst Tara laughed in my head about how weird human emotions were. I mean since my awakening as a mate I now could possibly guess exactly how my parents found themselves in this situation not that I didn't know the dynamics before its just now more clear and yuck a shudder ran through me. "I think the key here is not to put yourself and Ben in your parents' shoes." Tara chuckled in my head. "Oh goddess, shut up." I replied, burying my face in the pillows. After a while, I heard a gentle knock on my door, and my mother entered, holding a buttercream cake and two forks. She sat on the bed as I sat up she held out one of the forks
