~The next morning~

A sound woke Dina from her sleep at 8:14 in the morning. She rolled on her bed several times before she finally opened her eyes. Her eyelids fluttered a little due to the ray of the sun coming from her opened window. She pushed her body upward with her elbows and then yawned out loud. She picked up her phone, unlocked it, and started scrolling.

“A message from Jeff,” She said in her head then clicked on it.

{Jeff: Good morning beautiful ^…^}.

Dina’s cheeks immediately turned red after reading the message Jeff sent her. It had been a long time since she received such flattering messages. The last time she received such was when had a stalker from high school who ended up being a jerk who just wanted to have sex with her. *ugh* She hated such disgusting guys that’s why she never had a boyfriend, they were all the same to her. But she hoped Jeff was different.

“Dina, control yourself… it’s just a message” She scolded herself for blushing so hard.

{Good morning handsome}. She typed on her phone the erased it.

“No No… that’s wrong” She thought still trying to figure out what would best be written.  

{Dina: Good morning to you too}. She texted him.

She got off the bed and went to take her bath, she has to be at the orphanage early to check up on Chris.

She took her bath quickly, eat breakfast, did the chores, and was ready to leave the house.

Andres had already left early in the morning to go check out a new workshop. He didn’t bother to wake Dina up to tell her he was about to go out since she knew already. So Dina was not expecting to see him this morning.

After doing all the necessary things she set out for the orphanage.

While in the Taxi she received a message from Jeff. She just could not get used to the fact that a handsome guy like him could ever send her a message. Her cheeks turned red at the sudden image of his mesmerizing looks.

{Jeff: I want to invite you for a date this weekend, what do you say.}

“He wants to have a date with me” Dina rejoiced in her head after reading the message, she even pinched herself on the face to make sure she was not dreaming.

{Dina: Sure, I would love to 0_0.}. She replied after coming out of her imaginary world.

{Jeff: So it’s a date …... Saturday night, I’ll send you the venue later.}

{Dina: Hmmm... okay, I’ll be expecting it.}

{Jeff: Thank you for accepting my invitation… we will get to know each other better that way than through the phone.}

{Dina: Yeah… but hmm… I have a question, if you don’t mind.}. 

{Jeff: Ask on… I don’t mind.}

{Dina: You work at Mrs. Wright's house, so how will we go on a date… I mean don’t you stay there.}. 

{Jeff: No I don’t live there, I go home on weekends and also it’s a part-time job.}

{Dina: Ohh... okay. I have to go now… talk to you later.}

{Jeff: Yeah... me too. Bye for now.}

The Taxi stopped in front of the orphanage, Dina got down a paid the Taxi ma before walking inside the orphanage.

Dina was welcomed with hugs from many tiny creatures also known as little children. The children at the orphanage loved her so much. Many of them would cry when they are being told that she was not going to be at the orphanage. It was so funny how all of them loved her and she loved them too.

“Good morning Miss Dina,” They all said at the same time with smiles plastered on their adorable faces.

“Good morning to the most adorable children in the world” Dina was very happy to see them. She always looked forward to seeing them every day.

After chit-chatting with the kids, she went ahead to the workstation where all the minders at the orphanage usually stay.

She greeted all of them before making her seat near Molly.  

“Don’t you dare talk to me, Dina Evans” Molly said with her hands folded against her chest and her mouth pouted in the upward direction.

“So that means you don’t want to hear the good news” Dina teased Molly.

“Okay fine, just tell me already…. I couldn’t stop thinking about it all night” Molly could not handle it anymore; she was anticipating to know what news Dina had for her.

“Okay, so I have two good news” Dina focused her attention on Molly. “The best news and the good news…. which do you want to hear first”.

“ The best news of course,” Molly said excitingly.   

“My father received a 2-million-dollar contract yesterday” Dina spat out with such exciting enthusiasm.

“Oh my God…. That means you are rich” Molly said a little louder which attracted the other minder's attention.

“Shhh… Molly do you have to yell so much?” Dina covered her mouth with her palm and scolded her.

Molly moved Dina’s hand off her swiftly before speaking.” What do you mean I shouldn’t yell? Do you know what 2 million dollars are?

“Yes I know it’s a huge amount… but we have to be careful saying such”.

“Okay fine, so what is the second news” Molly changed the subject immediately, she wanted to know the second good news.

“I met a hunk at Mrs. Wright’s house yesterday. Oh my goodness… you have to see this beauty of a man” Dina was head over heels tripping for Jeff which Molly found very unusual.

“Really… wow, he must be super-hot” Molly teased Dina a little. “I have never seen you talk this way about a guy before” She continued talking.

“Trust me he is super-hot. And that’s not the best part yet” Dina spoke when suddenly a blush creped on her cheeks.

“Oh my… she’s blushing” Molly is excited about this news.

“I know… ever since yesterday this keeps happening” She placed her hand on her cheek and rubbed it gently as though to wipe away the blush.

“Wait… did you just see him; didn’t you at least talk to him?”.

“I did, and we exchanged numbers also, and now guess what” Dina grabbed Molly’s hands in hers and squeezed them with excitement.

“He asked you out on a date” Molly guessed right.

Both of them screamed in accordance after Molly spoke. Their girly behavior at that moment attracted everyone in the room. 

“Will you two stop that already… some of us are trying to concentrate here you know,” One of the minders said in obvious irritation.

“Sorry Lani” Dina apologized to the minder who just spoke.

“Ugh…what’s her problem” Molly whispered in a low tone.

“Molly” Dina scolded.

“I heard that,” Lani said to Molly without taking her attention off what she was doing.

“What… I didn’t say anything wrong “Molly tried to justify her action.

“Just let her be Dina… for your information Molly, I have no problem,” Lani said without even looking in Molly’s direction.

“That’s what you think” Molly spoke.

“Just stop you two… that’s enough” Dina was getting tired of the two of them. They keep stepping on each other’s toes.

But she knew Molly was mostly the one instigating the issues, that’s why she never really blamed Lani for replying all the time.

“Okay, enough with the chit-chatting…...let’s get to work now” Dina was referring to Molly.

“Sure… but later we’ll talk about this super-hot male creature that made you blush this much” Molly laughed quietly then pinched Dina’s cheeks hard.

“Of course… I need advice from an experienced lover girl like you” They both laughed quietly after Dina’s remark.

Molly had dated about 3 to 4 guys previously, so she was more experienced about things like this. Her last relationship ended recently because her ex-boyfriend turned out to be a cheat. Molly felt so hurt after finding out that he cheated on her, he was the one she loved the most among all the guys she dated in the past. But now she hates him more and more every time she thinks of what he did to her and how he insulted her love for him. 

“Too bad this lover girl doesn’t have a lover anymore,” Molly said and then stood up to leave for her workstation.

“Molly… I know you’re still trying to recover from what Zack did, but don’t let that keep you down” Dina also got up and then placed her hand on Molly’s shoulder.

“To Hell with that jerk,” Molly said almost in a whisper but Dina heard clearly. 

“Everyone deserves to fall in love, but not everyone finds love,” Dina said as though trying to console her.

“Enough… I want to remember that scum bag again” She was a bit sad but didn't want it to be obvious. She hated being pitied.

Everyone at the orphanage werwassy doing one or two things. Ever since they went for publicity weeks ago, people keep coming to make enquires for child adoptions. Dina was attending to a couple when her phone started vibrating in her pocket.

“Please excuse for just a minute” She excused herself and went to take the call.

“Father, please can I call you later. I’m a bit busy” She spoke over the phone.

“Okay honey, I just wanted to inform you that I have two great choices for a workshop,p,” Andres said in a serious tone. “I want you to have a look at it”. He continued.

“Okay father, I’ll leave when am done here…. See you later”. She hung up and went back to the waiting couple.
