Chapter 9

Author: Perfect Timing
The man who assaulted me was her uncle.

She tricked me into going to the hill and let her uncle assault me. She then put on an act before Jack arrived, making Jack think that I was the culprit who had hurt Sandra.

She initially thought that Jack would despise me for the assault; she did not expect Albert to interfere by sending her abroad.

When she returned to the country, she met with Jack and spiked his wine. She thought that once she was pregnant with Jack's child, she would be able to force Jack to divorce me.

She never thought that Jack would insist on returning home, which led to my pregnancy instead.

Sandra did not have any menstrual complications. She had faked all that. She was worried that Jack would not divorce me after the child was born, so she came up with a way to use Jack's guilt.

She bet on Jack to take my placenta for her. Her bet paid off, killing me and my child in the process. Oh, by the way, the doctor was her cousin.

"Urgh! This is disgusting! It tastes like blood! I'm going to puke!"Jack Lacroix patted Sandra Chambers on the head dotingly while looking at her as she sipped the liquid with furrowed brows."Be good, Sandra. The doctor said that the freshest placentas will help with your period pain. If you take it, your period won't be as painful when you have it."Sandra placed the bowl down and hugged Jack around the waist. She said coquettishly, "Jack, you're the best! But are you sure Whitney won't be mad that you took this from her? The baby hasn't even come to full-term yet."Jack was stunned, but he hid it well. He replied, "She won't. What right does she have to be mad? She played dirty to get pregnant. It's only right that she helps me with this. Besides, there are so many premature babies in the hospital, and all of them are still doing well. Why is her baby so precious?"However, Jack had forgotten that I was not in the hospital.I was only seven months pregnant. How could the baby

You're too kind, Sandra. That evil woman has hurt you, yet you still look out for her. Don't worry. Once she's out, I'll make her make it up to you."Sandra looked at Jack with feigned innocence and naivety. "If I want to be Mrs. Lacroix, will she make way for me?"I looked at Jack.
