Artemis' POV

"What did you just do, Artemis?" he asked angrily. He wasn't even wearing his formal clothes. He was wearing only a black jogger and a gray shirt while anger was clearly visible in his eyes.

“Oh, I just tried to check my health. I was feeling bad earlier. I also intend to return to the island," I said, laughing awkwardly, but it seemed that my smile could do nothing on his angry face now. I also felt nervous when he looked at the hospital. He came closer to me and tried to put the back of his palm on my forehead.

"Liar," he said, so I cleared my throat.

"You fucking went out of the island with just you in the boat. Fuck it. Are you even thinking, Artemis?” he asked, glaring at me. I just closed my eyes and didn't speak. He also knew that he was right.

"Well, I survived and I'm okay. I checked up. I intend to return to the island now," I said, smiling at him but the coldness in his eyes remained as if he was judging my entire personality.
