Unsettling Emotions
From the CEO office of the Hale Industries, Christopher found himself checking the distance between Pacific Grove and Los Angeles.
It wasn't really so far. It was a five-hour drive. He muttered, "I could go there on weekends, I suppose."
Yet again, he leaned back, finding himself in a puzzled state. He asked himself, "Why do I want to go to Pacific Grove again?"
He just shook his head and leaned back to his seat. He wound up questioning his unsettling emotions.
Last night, after having dinner with Olivia and Katie, he discussed the idea of moving away. He assured her there was no hurry in moving out from his penthouse. Moreover, he really did not have somebody to call his own.
In short, he was single, currently unable to mingle, was still too hurt to find someone else, and did not have use for a bachelor's pad.
