Soon, Marie gathered her clothes. The heaviness she felt did not stop her from doing the right thing first as her plan was supported by her family, the Philippine President, and the rest of the officials except for the opposition, some of her friends, and relatives.

“Are you sure that this is good?” Len asked while folding the newly washed dry clothes Marie usually used.

Marie, who was facing her laptop at the near table on the veranda looked at her mother and nodded.

“Mother, I prayed for this. I will eat my pride for his sake.”

While Marie was busy preparing herself for the comeback journey to Denmark, in the Copenhagen Royal Hospital outside the emergency room, the king and queen sadly watched the prince who was still unconscious, with a tube in his mouth and a monitor apparatus attached to her heart. Five nurses and seven specialist doctors attended to him. Even the top most doctor in the world aside from the UK, USA, and Germany were called and came for his sake.
