The amount of fear and trembling I and Chuck both felt was overwhelming enough to send shivers all over our body. It was kind of ironic to believe that Travis suddenly disappeared out of nowhere along with that sophomore student, knowing that if there was anything bad that really happened, he should have sent instant warning or notifications right away. He could have left patterns on the pavements and the path walks, or he could have shouted loud enough to be heard. There were a plenty of ways he could do to send a signal of warning, but he did not. And in this case, the worst thing that could happen was that, it was him who was in danger. Not the sophomore student.
Chuck and I stared at each other and by simply doing it, I could already tell that we were thinking the same thing. ‘What if Travis had an encounter with the serial killer?’ ‘What he had crossed paths with that psychopath and found no way to escape?’ ‘What if he’s
I was greatly startled when I saw Chuck running and rushing through the heavy, populated, mammoth crowd, bumping each and every person blocking his way. He was as if in an emergency based on how the way he creased his forehead as he shot a blaze of his meteor eyes towards my direction. While snaking through the students, he tried to shout out a few words, but the on going protest was growing more and more intense and loud, that was why there was no way I was able to hear him or perhaps figure out what he was saying the whole time.Convinced that it was really an emergency, I met him halfway. I tossed my megaphone to Philip, and I wore off the placard I hung on my self. i treaded past the line formed by our classmates, and I did not gave a damn if whether or not their eyes and gazes were following me. As sooner as we can, we met in the middle and that was when everything suddenly came into light. While running after his own breath, feeling su
Chuck was right when he said that Travis was our guardian angel. He was, indeed, our guardian angel. Because of him, we were able to get rid of the murder of the janitor that was framed to all of us. However, the only down side that I could see with that was, his plan and his blueprint was so successful that even up until this day, his body was never found yet. To be honest, no one had even noticed that he had gone missing for more than a week already. Even his family, I doubted if they knew he was dead already. With Travis as the only person who knew where his dead body was being buried and thrown away, the chances of finding them was zero. Swear to God, he will never leak the place where he hid the janitor. As I digested the words of Chuck, I thought of this one specific thing again. Why were the faculty did not wonder why the janitor had not show up for eight days straight? I mean, okay, the building had indeed a great number of janitors that were tasked to m
PHILIP I knew at first glance to my wrist watch that we were going to take more than three hours here in this protest movement. It had been an hour and thirty four minutes only when we started to gather here in this venue with our placards and signages saying that we deserve not only an academic break but stronger and safer protocol. For some reasons, it occured to me that the faculty was not there, inside the covered gym. But then, when the Vice Principal’s personal assistant came out from the gym’s entrance, it was when I was able to confirm that they were really there, hiding. Now that I was pretty convinced that all of my speculations were true, I was starting to doubt the whole scenario. Suspiciously, why would they stay hiding inside and get themselves rid of the media if they were not taking away something from the public? Was it really necessary to ignore the students’ protest? JANVICSo here’s the tea: Philip and I followed what Rabiya’s text had wanted us to do. To go to the Building F as sooner as possible and with no doubts of turning back. However, there is one thing we both decided to choose not to follow. To go there individually. Yes, we did not follow this rule for no reason. Or if there was, perhaps it was none of us had wanted to go first, nor neither of us had wanted to go last. So, for the peacefulness of our souls, we decided to just go there together and ignore the only warning that Rabiya had included in her text message. Of course, we were aware of the cameras installed and hidden everywhere, and of course, they were really many (if I were to sum them up, they were twice as many as what I expected), and it was indeed a difficult job to get rid of them and try our best not to be caught. So, if anyone’s asking how we made it to the other side of the covered gym wi

CHUCKNow, are you all ready to search for Travis?” I asked Rabiya and Philip and Janvic and myself. The question was stuck in the air and it floated there for about more than a minute or two. It was not a bubble that would pop out naturally after a few seconds of staying in the mid-air. It was too different and they were way too far from each other. After a couple of minutes, every single one of us nodded, but it happened in unison and not individually. “So, what are we waiting for? Let us now begin!” I commanded. We decided that perhaps it would be better and safer if we search the same place, but divide the parts of the place in two sections. The section one, which is composed of the first foor, the second floor, the third floor, the fourth floor, the fifth floor, the sixth floor, and the seventh floor, will go to the first group in the names of Rabiya and Janvic. On the other hand, the

It was a tough time for me and Philip. We were done searching for the seventh floor and it took us approximately twenty minutes searching that floor alone. At least, it was shorter than expected. We expected it would take us more than thirty minutes each floor but thank God it did not. Another thing that we expected was that, there was no Travis on the seventh floor. It was, to me, either he was somewhere between one of the floors from first floor up to the seventh floor, or somewhere between the final floors or the uppermost floors of the building. He could not be here anywhere around the eighth floor simply because it would not make any sense.Time check, it was already three o’clock in the afternoon. I took a full glance on one of the tens of windows panes on the left wing of the lobby of the eighth floor and from there I watched and had my own view of what were the thing going on outside. There was nothing much, unfortunately. Other than the flock of b
