"Cass."

A sudden call almost made my heart jump out of my chest as I turn around to see the man who startled me "What the hell?" I asked with my voice raised and my right hand caressing my chest as I try to catch my breath.

Napailing na lamang ito sa akin bago napabuntong hininga, "Did Trixy told you?" Tanong niya sa malamig at walang ganang boses habang nakapamulsa.

Hindi ako sanay na siya ang lumalapit sa akin para magtanong dahil hilig niya akong itaboy noon pa man. Masyado akong nahihiwagaan sa ginagawa niya nitong nakaraang araw dahil tila ba napapadalas na ang pakikipag-usap niya sa akin.

Nahihiwagaan man ay binura ko na lamang iyon sa isipan at sinubukang humugot ng katiting na tapang bago sumagot, "Yes she did, but I'm still not going!" I even rolled my eyes at him before opening the door of the driver's seat before hopping inside the car to ignore him.

Nang makapasok ay padabog kong isinara ang pintuan ng kotse at balak na sanang pihitin ang susi para paandarin ang makina ng sasakyan nang biglang may bumukas ng pintuan sa shotgun.

"What are you doing Zeke?" Pagalit kong tanong nang walang sabi-sabing pumasok ito sa sasakyan at nakuha pang sumandal na parang siya ang may-ari ng kotse.

"What do you think?" Pilosopong sagot nito bago muling napabuntong hininga at diretsong tumitig sa front window ng kotse.

Naiibahan na talaga ako sa mga ikinikilos niya. Simula noong nangyari ang eskandalong ginawa ni Chad ay nag-iba na rin ang mga galaw ni Zeke. Oo nga't malamig pa rin ang pakikitungo niya pero ngayon ay kusa na siyang lumalapit at kinakausap ako, hindi tulad ng dati na para akong ligaw na aso na pilit niyang pinagtatabuyan.

Hindi ko tuloy alam kung dapat ba akong matuwa dahil ngayon ay pinapansin na niya ako o mainis dahil kahit kailan ay hindi niya ako pinakitunguhan nang maayos.

Napahawak ako nang mahigpit sa manibela sa sobrang pagpipigil bago napasandal na rin sa upuan at nilingon ito, "Get out of the car Zeke." Utos ko rito bago pa magbago ang isip ko't tuluyang malimutan ang plano kong tigilan na ang pagnanasa sa atensyon niya.

Oo't hanggang ngayon ay mahirap siyang tiisin. Parang may tumatarak na punyal sa dibdib ko kapag pinipilit ko ang aking sarili na layuan siya. Pero hindi magbabagong hindi niya ako gusto at kahit kailan ay hindi magkakaroon ng kami. Kailangan ko nang bigyan ng tuldok ang kabaliwan ko sa lalaking kailan man ay hindi magiging akin at baka tuluyan na akong malunod at hindi na makaahon pa.

Ngunit parang sinusubukan ako ng tadhana ngayon at hindi man lang gumalaw ang lalaki mula sa kaniyang puwesto, "What if I don't want to?" He asked coldly while staring at me with his dead serious eyes, daring me to give my worst.

My ears smoked out of anger as I look at him deadly, "Just get the fuck out!"

"Why?" Walang gana niyang tanong bago ipinagkrus ang dalawang braso at itinaas ang dalawang kilay.

With that, I snapped. I lost all my patience as I gritted my teeth and then pointed at the door, "Pwede bang 'wag mo nang pairalin ang katigasan ng ulo mo't lumayas ka sa kotse ko?" I roared at him in anger as I wait for him to leave.

He averted his eyes before looking down then he became silent. Suddenly, I noticed how his jaw tightened and his fists slowly clenched as if his anger is about to burst. It was like a bomb when he finally exploded as he hits the dashboard of my car angrily before his burning eyes met mine, "Why the hell are you acting like this to me Cassidy? What have I f*cking done?"
