The young lady greeted Eric with a friendly smile and then introduced herself to him as soon as she saw the shocked expression on Eric's face. After that, she continued to talk to him about herself. 

"Hi, I'm Zoe Hills. In addition to acting as the CEO's secretary, I also work as the personal assistant for Crystal Dragon Group's chief executive officer.”

Eric was taken aback by the information that he discovered after learning the name of the company that was being discussed. 

It is reasonable to assume that he is already familiar with the company considering how well-known it is; after all, who wouldn't be? 

In spite of the fact that there were a great number of qualified individuals looking for work at Crystal Dragon at the time, there were only a few positions available. This was due to the fact that Crystal Dragon had the highest rate of profitability of any business in the area. 

Crystal Dragon group placed such a high barrier to entry for employment opportunities that only a very small percentage of people were able to overcome it and secure a position there. 

Crystal Dragon offered its employees benefits that were unrivaled in the sector and could not be found at any other company. These benefits were exclusive to Crystal Dragon. As a direct result of this, a large number of people congregate in the neighborhood of the company in the vain expectation of finding work there. 

Eric shook his head after a pause that lasted for an amount of time that could not be determined. Despite the fact that she claimed to be the personal assistant of the CEO of Crystal Dragon, the individual in question failed to provide the company with a copy of his resume.

. Given that he did not submit a copy of his resume to the company, it is not clear why she would look for him. As a result, it is unclear why she would look for him. 

In the end, Eric arrived at the conclusion that Zoe was being dishonest and only came to add insult to his injury. 

"I'm sorry, Ms. Hills or whatever your name may be, but I just don't have the patience to listen to your nonsense. Please don't take it personally. I don't care what your name is because it doesn't affect my opinion of you. Why are you lying to me about applying for a job at your company when I have never even visited your establishment or filled out an application? Why are you lying to me about applying for a job at your company?” Eric  questions 

Eric cut in and said, "Don't even bother explaining anything right now," just as Zoe was about to defend herself. "Don't even bother explaining anything right now."

 Because of this, Zoe immediately stopped what she was doing. When Eric said something, he cut off Zoe just as she was about to speak in her own defense, and he did so by interrupting her. 

“Leave me alone, I've had more than I can handle in one day. I need some space. Just leave me alone.”

Zoe's ability to speak was taken away, but she continued to work toward her goal of persuading him despite this. 

Nevertheless, at exactly that moment, Nicole got out of the car and looked over in the direction of where Eric and Zoe were standing and saw them having a conversation from a distance. Because Eric and Zoe were conversing with one another, Nicole was able to accomplish this feat. 

As soon as Nicole overheard Eric talking to a stunning woman, she couldn't help but feel envious and angry at the same time. 

She found that she was suddenly unable to control her feelings of dread and panic. 

Nicole approached them in a belligerent manner, her face contorted with resentment as it was etched deeply into her features. 

Clap! 

Clap! 

Clap! 

When Eric and Zoe  saw Nicole clapping her hands as she approached them, they were taken aback. Both of them were taken aback by the sight. 

By knitting his brows together, Eric conveyed an expression of intense concentration. 

"Oh wow! Look we have here! The beggar living on the streets is the person who is most severely impacted by the effects of poverty. What a breathtaking scene to take in, to say the least!” 

Zoe was beside herself and couldn't take it any longer; however, Eric remained silent and did nothing but watch as Nicole hurled insults at them. Zoe's reaction was one of fury and helplessness. Eric did not respond. 

After that, she turned her attention to the person who was speaking, and she questioned them by saying, "And you, what the hell do you think you're doing with this ugly duckling? What gives you the impression that you have no respect for the person you are?” After a pause, Nicole looked over at Zoe and began paying attention to her. 

"I was under the impression that wearing designer clothes, shoes, and handbags would actually make a person's attitude toward life more upbeat, but it turns out that I couldn't have been more wrong about that assumption. You are nothing more than a pig that has been made to appear more respectable by wearing expensive clothing.” 

"Eric Ferguson, You have never been one to keep your boundaries in check, and I am well aware of this fact about you; however, how dare you go beyond the boundaries of your flight range?! It makes me wonder how much more greedy you are going to get in the future.”

Nicole took a few steps around them after pursing her lips, and the entire time she did so, she twisted her hair with her fingers as she went. 

"It would appear that I was correct all along in my speculations, starting from the very beginning. You are nothing but a greedy scumbag who is only interested in me because of the money I have. There is no other reason for your interest in me. You have nothing but shame to show for yourself. As a direct result of the fact that I am now able to access my wealth and you have nothing in your name but poverty. I am aware of the fact that you are attempting to develop an intimate relationship with a different wealthy woman.”

During the course of her conversation, she gave a sideways glance in Zoe's direction and remarked as follows: "Well, your option is not inexpensive after all, but it is still basic in comparison to mine.How is it that you are able to live your life with such a severe lack of integrity?” 

After realizing that she could take the insults for any  longer, Zoe Hills went up to Nicole and confronted her in an open and direct manner. 

"Your tongue is like a sharp sword, ready to slash through anything. It is a pity that you did not decide to pursue a career as a spoken word artist because you would have been a lot more successful in this line of work than in the job that you are currently holding. However, it is understandable that you made this decision. It wasn't until much later in life that you realized how talented you were; however, it's much better to find out now rather than never, right? Zoe smirked. 

The rage that Nicole was experiencing could almost be touched. 

Nicole rushed toward Zoe while grinding her teeth and clenching her fists tightly. She glared at Zoe and shot her an angry look as she approached. 

Eric stepped in between Nicole and Zoe just in the nick of time to prevent Nicole from insulting Zoe any further than she already had. 

Eric became concerned as he watched Zoe's eyes become filled with rage as she awaited the outlet for it. He could see it building up in her eyes. 

In a very short amount of time, Eric was able to come up with a solution to the problem and put that solution into action. 

"Stop Zoe! You shouldn't even bother wasting your time arguing with someone like her because she won't shift her position no matter what you say. She is nothing more than an irate version of Peggy, and nothing else at all!" Eric greeted Zoe with a friendly smile and extended his hand to her. 

After turning his back on her, he said, "You never rated me, but other people know my value." 

Nicole did not respond. 

“ Zoe Hills is the name of my brand new girlfriend, and we have only just recently started going out together. What kind of ideas do you have? She has a much larger amount of wealth than you do, by a significant margin. It is possible that in the not too distant future, the three of you, Shawn's family, and she will get along swimmingly.”

The other individual said to the third person, "Zoe, let's go; we shouldn't waste any more time with her," as a request to leave. 

Nicole was rendered mute and unable to respond to the question. 

Eric pushed Zoe into the car before Nicole  could even begin to process the shock that she had just experienced, and the vehicle sped off without waiting for her to catch her breath or even have a chance to process what had just happened to her. 

Zoe planted her foot firmly on the gas pedal and maintained her pressure there before speeding away from the scene of the incident. 

While moving from one location to another, 

Eric changed his position so that he was facing Zoe and immediately apologized to her for dragging her into the situation. He apologized to her by saying, "I'm sorry I dragged you into this mess.I had no idea that Nicole would be in this location; all I intended to do was provoke her and see if I could force her to let go of her hold on me so that I could escape. I had no idea that Nicole would be this hard to deal with.Even though I’m saying this is  the case,  I had hoped that what she had said earlier wouldn't bother you too much?”

“Your offering an apology to me for the inappropriate behavior that she exhibited is not required at this time.It is not your fault that she behaved in such a reckless manner; you do not have any influence over her actions.”

“I also hope that the lie I told you about your social status will not offend you; I told Nicole that you are wealthier than she was. I hope that this statement does not offend you. Also, I hope that the fabrication I made about your social standing did not hurt your feelings in any way." 

"There is not the tiniest shred of evidence to suggest that one ought to look back with regret.In the future, there is no need for you to feel the need to make amends to me for whatever happened.I am prepared to follow each and every instruction that you provide for me without presenting any kind of argument against it.This is because I’m only a maid to the Ferguson family and you,young master, Eric Ferguson is the true heir of the Ferguson family!”

In contrast to the expression on Eric Ferguson's face, which appeared to become even more bewildered after hearing this, Zoe Hills said it with a smile on her face.
