CHAPTER 19

"They are here!!" Olivia wisphered. "Who are they?" Marie asked.

"I told you that some people came knocking and wanted to force the door open yesterday."

"Now they are here again. To...." Another heavy knock on the door cuts in sharply.

"Who are you?!" Marie shouted.

"It's me." The masculine voice replied. "What do you want from us, " Marie asked. "Nothing!" The voice said.

Marie and Olivia looked at each other's faces, as fear gripped them. There was silence for a moment and there was a knock on the door again. Marie summoned the courage to open the door, holding a stick in her hand, as Olivia followed her silently.

Marie opened the door gently and she immediately brought out the stick, ready to hit it on whosoever was at the door. She finally hit the man who was standing, she had hit him already before realizing that he was harmless.
