We both walk into the throne room. King Leonids sitting in his throne grining from ear to ear. Queen Lindy with the biggest grin plastered on her face I have ever seen.  Faulk stops and I follow his lead but he turns his eyes toward the King and Queen. Encouraging me to go forward I get to the end of the beautiful rug  just before them. As stupid as it seems to me at the time, I bow as deeply as I can to them both. I have only been here for mere hours and yet they have been the nicest people aside from Mary and Faulk I have ever met.

“ My darling girl you do not ever need to bow before us” King Leonids booms. I jump up at the sound of his voice, startled. Which makes him giggle.

“Aurora, you have been brought to us by our son Faulk. He states he believes your his sister by blood and wants you to become a part of our family. I know you have many questions and they will all be answerd in due time my love. But for now we must fill you in on what you will need to know.  Faulk has told us you now know he is a wolf as well as he has told us of the life you have previously lived. What you believe is not what the world truly is.”  He pauses, brushing his hair out of his face before he continues…..

“ Human are not the only things to exist in the world love, there are wolves, witches, fairy’s, angels, demons, mermaids and dragons. They all live together here on earth and co exists in peace with each other for the most part. I am King Leonids, King of all creatures in this world.” He booms out the last lines loudly and Soo proud his chest puffs up.

“I am Queen Lindy, Queen of all creatures in this realm” Lindy says with her held held high and a deep smile on her face.

All I can do is blink as I am awe struck of the power I can feel radiating throughout the room.

King Leonids continues,

“No one outside of our world is to know of our world, but you are an exception to that rule. As your brother has been keeping us up to date with your life.  You see we found your brother one evening years ago. He was almost dead naked in the middle of the forest while we were out taking a walk. We brought him back here and nursed him back to health. I could feel his wolf had almost given up.  When Faulk woke, he tried to run afraid of who we were and what we are. I slowly gained his trust. It took me weeks before he started to talk to me and even longer to get him to open up. Eventually he tells me of his “dad” or Sam as we know him by. Sam no longer required him to be around anymore, afraid of Faulks strength and that he would want Sam’s small pack to himself.  He was brought into a clearing and beaten to death, or so they thought. Your brother is a very very strong man and a much stronger wolf, and survived.”

“The day after this was brought to my attention, I had a crew go out and hunt down Sam and his small pack….and they were dragged here, by silver chains around their ankles kicking and screaming. I had them all chained up, upside down, my men took care of the pack….”

“And I took care of Sam myself” Faulk stated from behind me

“Yes, I allowed Faulk to do what he pleased with Sam” the king grinned and evil grin, I wish I didn’t notice. Note to self don’t make the king or queen upset.

“So without all the gory details, Sam was killed” the king spoke and I flinched at his words, turning my head to look at my new brother who I could tell was reminiscing of the experinece.

“Now I know this is so much on your first day here, but we must get down to our first business. You now know that humans are not the only creatures on this planet and ur brother has brought you here to save you from out there. Which means you now have to make a choice Aurora, you can choose to stay and be part of our family, but with that you must choose a creature to become as no humans are allowed to know our secrets. Or you can choose to go back out there on your own, we will erase everything you have seen and herd you will then be on your own.”  The king turns and heads back to sit in his throne the queen is staring at me. I can feel the instanisty of my brother eyes on my back boring a hole through it. Everyone waiting for my response.

I start having a panic attack in my head. Going over everything I have herd again and again. My mind not shutting off, on over drive. Going through all this new information and replaying my life before my eyes. Then darkness consumes me. I see nothing, blackness…..

I can hear shuffling and nosies around me but yet can’t hear anything at al. No matter how hard I strain to open my eyes, they will not!

Walking into this bathroom was like it’s own world. The smells that hit you when you walk in. New smells now I didn’t notice before, lilies, jasmine, lavender, honey suckle. Hitting every note possible. I turn the water on as hot as I could get it this time, this bathroom my calm sanctuary, I grab a new vial of jasmine oil and pour it in. I walk into the banquet room with Faulk holding my arm, as I lean into him taking in all the people around the huge table in the middle of the room. Long curtains hang everywhere from the high ceilings. Deep purples with gold and teal. It’s absolutely amazing, it almost looks as if the ceiling was sparkling like the stars in the sky past all the rich drapery. The table elaborately set, looking at the cutlery and plate stacks I nearly fell over. I vaguely remember reading an article in an old magazine, saying in a dinner party you always use the utensils from the outside in….or was it from the inside out….I sigh! This is not gonna go well, I fidget.“Just relax Aurora, everything will be fine! I am woken later by a knock at my door thinking its awfully late, it must not be for me. As I roll over to hear the knock again this time a little louder then before. It makes my heart instantly race as I jump up from the noise intrusion. I make my way to the door to open it, when I see him standing in front of me. Mr black suit, and on my god up close he was immaculate. Tall but not too tall, muscular but not to a point where you could see his “six pack”. Birght fire hot orange eyes unlike anything I have ever seen, and as I stare into them, I feel like you can see the fire burning in them. Swirling fire all around. He was a god in human form. Period. Longer hair on top shorter on the sides, dark brown, almost red. Styled so it like like he did it but he didn’t put any effort into it. The slight 5 o’clock shadow on his cheeks with a soft yet srtong jaw line. I nearly fainted at his sight up close. Pull it together Aurora you pervert what the hell is the matter with you! I y

Idris thanked the guard and brought our meal straight onto the bed. At the same time both of our stomachs began to make noises as we stared at the trays. “I can’t believe we’ve slept Soo long” I get out groggily “Aurora, will you tell me about yourself, I know ive asked you before but you didn’t really tell me much now did you?” Idris asked me curiously, head tilted to the side fidgeting with some berries in his hand. “What would you like to know exactly?” I asked him cautiously. Confused as to his question. No one had ever asked me that before. I think maybe because no one cared. The orphanage had lots of comings and goings but the kids there were all from bad situations. No one liked to talk about their own shit. Mine would only consist of the orphanage and the horrible hand I was dealt. I remember nothing of my life before the orpha

Though it seemed he wasent sure if he should pull me out of my own head.A tiny tear escaped my eye as i think about Rose and the gown. What was to come. Mostly Idris. Was he going to leave? It was all a lot to take in. “Aurora, i know what your thinking right now. My only explaination is this, everything in this world we know happens for a reason.
