I said, "I can't ignore this. I think they need us." I ran downstairs and saw the entire wolf family at the door. I went to the garage and opened it. The wolf family ran inside, and I shut the door. I checked them all out, and the female's leg has been shot. "Aidinth," I yelled, "Call Layla! We need a healer." I petted her gently and said, "Poor momma, you just can't catch a break!" Aidinth ran into the garage, and I said, "The hunters started early. Momma here has been shot." He brought out a couple of old blankets that we had used for moving and laid them on the floor. What a ride we have had in these last ten years. Aidinth and I are still blissfully happy with each other, and our kids are amazing. We are still being called to areas around the world to host anti-poaching campaigns. My favorites have been to China, to protect the pandas, and to Africa to protect the wild cats. I fell in love with the wild versions of these animals. The werebears and werecats have been trying to protect themselves as well as the full blood version with a fierceness that I have not seen anywhere else. Mainly because they were getting desperate. Aidinth and I went there and ended up calling Luna Abby in for reinforcements. Wow. The last three months have been a whirlwind. It has been three months since the event in Louisiana, and it was a major success.
