Himari’s POV.-Zorien twirls me free and when I’m expecting to go back into his arms and stretch my arms out in his direction, someone comes sweeping me neatly away and I gasp to see the red-haired Demon.He grins cheekily at me and I pout, accepting to continue the dance with him in hopes to appease Zorien later.“I heard about your heroic achievements from the war. He reminds me so much of the late King, and it’s a warmth that makes me smile tenderly as I watch him rise tentatively to tower easily over Vilma’s 5ft, 10inches.Zorien and Kitra huff together and Zorien teases while leaning over me and placing his chin atop my head. “What spell did you cast on my little brother, Vilma? Himari’s POV. - Standing outside the supposed building I’ll be living from now on, I gulp, wearing my perplexity as I peer up at the rickety two-story building four feet away from my position. It’s situated behind the Packhouse and for starters, the porch looks so old and practically falling apart, with gathered patches of moss here and there. Then there’s the fading paint on the body of the house, giving it a very sickly appearance. ‘Oh boy, this is my new house?’ Truly, Omegas aren’t regarded with any form of respect at all. Himari’s POV. - I slam the door shut once I enter the toilet stall. Placing my hands over my heaving chest as I let my bag drop onto the floor. My knees buckle under my weight, knocking themselves out and bringing my back sliding down the door until my butt meets the tiled floor. Still panting and unable to restore the normal rhythm of breath, I tuck my head between my trembling knees, putting my arms around them. As the Gamma’s daughter and first child, there was a towering stack of expectations leveraged atop my shoulders that shimmered in the faces of the Pack members that night to watch me shift into my wolf. Himari’s POV. - Jake squats next to my feet, reaching a hand to grab both my ankles with great pressure that has my body wringing from the pain affecting the area. Tears brim in my eyes as I bite my lips, pleading with my gaze as I meet his. He huffs, retracting his hand and standing up. I watch the silent way he rakes his eyes up and down my body and I recoil into myself. “Will you give it to me, when I tell you what it is I want, shrimp?” He smirks, a strange coating over his voice that drives nails of paranoia into my muscles as I cower beneath his penetrating stare. He’s going to start playing his stupid games again. “I want to have you, Himari.” Surprise defuses over me when those shady words vacate his lips and next I know, he picks me up roughly, gripping my hair tightly and pressing me against his chest forcibly. Himari’s POV. - The blaring call of my name snaps me out of my reverie right in time with the expulsion of black fire that basks the air around me. I fall, colliding my back into crispy crushes of rapidly incinerating things that deafen my ears with their agonizing cries. Strength returns to my arms and I jerk them to try and control the crippling pressure of the repugnant fire erupting more destructively beneath me. Himari’s POV.-There’s a massive hole that’s been carved to the outside as my feet struggle to firm their footing. As the daylight pours in and debris falls from above and hit the nearly completely deleted ground, my awing eyes continue to expand stupendously as I take in the beauty of these beings staring down at me.Their emerald eyes, large and gem-like, seem to be particular as they concentrate on me. Large heads with a blue-lit symbol of the crescent moon carved into the middle of their foreheads, huge black Dragon wings a little open at their sides as their massive bodies prop up on their limbs.
